Hi
When you're in a Wi-Fi environment with roaming enabled, when you move from one desk to another (for example), you stay connected to the network without interruption as you move from the coverage area of one Wi-Fi access point to another. It's the same principle as with mobile phones; if you move, you switch from one cell tower to another without interruption in the call.
The aggressiveness setting allows you to tell your Wi-Fi card at what signal strength level it should disconnect from the access point to connect to another. If you set it to very aggressive, as soon as the signal drops a little, your card will try to connect to another access point; if you set it to a little aggressive, your card will stay connected to the access point until the signal strength limit is reached.
