Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and I've had to refer to outsiders because I can't get my hands on the very latest Saint Seiya called Chapter Zeus. If anyone has a good lead, I'm all ears because I'm starting to feel my eyes burning from scrolling through pages on Google.

Hi, I stopped at the beginning of the Zeus arc. I saw the first episode in French when Zeus appears and wants to test the knights and their new divine armor.
And since then, I can't find the rest.
However, I saw the end of Hades. -

Here you go! But don't forget that this sequel in 2 parts was and is completely created by "FANS" with the great Iro Sakamihara at the helm.
This season is therefore unofficial.
However, if you're looking for a real sequel, there's the Tenkai joso Hen, in other words "the opening (or intro) of the Heaven chapter", but this sequel is just a "movie" that represents a rotten pot (like the 1986 Hokuto no Ken movie) of the first pages of the essay "Tenkai Hen" made without Kurumada (comparable to DragonBall GT)
And so this movie only loosely follows the major outlines and ideas of Kurumada, but it does not represent at all the continuation of the Hades Chapter, more like a parallel story.
The real sequel to the Hades chapter lies in the manga "Next Dimension" which in the introduction briefly recounts the past of the previous war against Hades (with Sion, Dokko, Tenma & Alone) to lay the foundations; chapter 13, thus the end of the 1st volume of Next Dimension picks up the plot of the Tenkai, compared to the Tenkai joso movie 5, we can say it will be a rethought version (finally as the author had conceived it) much longer, with more characters, not to mention that the story will continue much further, passing through the empire of Heaven with Olympus, and the ancient Gods who should — I say should — according to Kurumada's statements and interviews, be the ultimate enemies!

Lost Canvas, which focuses just on the previous war against Hades, and the G episode with Titanimania, the war that the Golden Knights, still teenagers, lead against the Titans.-
Just a clarification: Next Dimension is not adapted into an anime; it's Lost Canvas (a nearly similar story, but from a different perspective) ;) However, I don't understand why you're talking about a sequel to Hades...?! Lost Canvas / Next Dimension takes place during the last Holy War and therefore well before the Pegasus saga and the like that we know!

Not at all, but before all that, it's Lost Canvas that will be made into an animated series (but I don't think this comment was for me since it doesn't reference me)
As for Next Dimension, it is divided into 2 periods: the one that takes place during the Lost Canvas, which is the last Saint War, and the other that takes place after Hades, which tells the Tenkai Hen, in other words, the Chapter of the Heavens.

After the flashback that is the first part, we return to 1990 where Athena decides to go to the Moon Kingdom to see her older sister Artemis, so that she can help her wake up Seiya, who is plunged into the lethargy of death, "the sword of Hades." She wants Artemis and Apollo to turn back time to intervene on Hades' sword and save Seiya. Artemis then demands the sacrifice of her sister Athena, who has attracted the wrath of the Olympians. Learning thereafter that even the goddess of the moon and the god of the sun are incapable of such a miracle concerning time, only a god is capable of that: Chronos. The only problem is, he is part of time and can be anywhere, his body being either material or immaterial. Athena then sets out to find him in the company of Athena!

Oh really, does it have anything to do with mythology? LoL, you thought no one knew or what? Well, first write better than that.
And if your judgment is based on the first posts, okay, you’re right, but if you took the time to read the later posts, and therefore my contributions, you’re very far off!
Of course the manga and the anime are two different things, and the fifth movie has nothing to do with the long-awaited sequel to the Hades chapter, and it doesn’t correspond to Kurumada’s idea of the Tenkai chapter, even if it takes some basic elements from it.
The continuation of Hades is Next Dimension, even if at first it refers to the previous saint wars, it’s just for its connection with the storyline; well, I’m not going to repeat myself a million times.
P.S.: I know enough about manga and Saint Seiya to express my opinion. -

Then, I don't know what you're talking about, but the sequel to Hades is Lost Canvas (which takes up the last Holy War); and Kurumada is indeed the author; as for the anime, 2 episodes of Lost Canvas have already been released in Japan; Seiya is definitely dead in Hades because we didn't yet know what the continuation would be...-
Let's be picky, Kuru is not really the author of LC... At best, he oversaw this manga, skimmed over it... Let's just say that Teshirogi showed her pages to the master for him to approve them before printing. And just for that, he allows himself to co-sign the work. No, I'm being harsh... he did initiate, create, inspire, etc. this universe that many of us appreciate!
On the other hand, I don't know what you think, but I personally like the creator's style, it brings a bit of a change. And for now, like many, I've watched the first two episodes of the animated version (which differs slightly in graphic and narrative aspects) in definition worse than mediocre, but I enjoyed it. I'm waiting to get the complete series, but I have no information regarding its official release in France; do you have any?- Ah yes, "my tongue slipped" lol; it's because Next Dimension is by him and since they are parallel stories... :D Of course, the artist of Lost Canvas is a woman, my bad!!! ;) Moreover, it's clear that it's less pretty :( Surprising coming from a woman, huh?! By the way, I’m convinced that this manga does well in anime only because it introduces new characters; if she had tried to continue Hades’s story, it would have been a fiasco, the fans would have screamed, I think lol! On this subject, that's why I would have liked Kurumada himself to release his animated version of Next Dimension, to compare it with Lost Canvas ;) And for another reason as well: Lost Canvas deals only with the last Holy War, whereas Next Dimension (only written manga) also relates the true continuation of Hades: cf post by Mundus01, on Tuesday, May 5, 2009, at 04:50:04; Tenkai Hen Joso being just an OAV that condenses the story a bit and messes it up quite a bit lol!
If we try to situate Saint Seiya chronologically, it would be Lost Canvas (last Holy War with Shion and Dohko), Saint Seiya G (the story of the Gold Saints that we know; the problem is, here too, the written manga was drawn by someone else and it changes radically from what we're used to seeing), Knights of the Zodiac, Hades chapter, and finally the last part of Next Dimension (which, in turn, deals with the very beginning of Saint Seiya and the very end).
Well, regarding the official release in France, aren’t you a bit rushed lol?! They haven’t even released the last 18 episodes of Hades in French and you’re already talking about the 13 OAV of Lost Canvas?! Sorry, you’ll have to be patient :D

I am watching the Knights of the Zodiac anime, I have Elysion left to see, so apparently there are 6 episodes which makes a total of 145 episodes to date it seems, is that right? And it’s really confusing, to be clear, is the continuation of Elysion Next Dimension or Lost Canvas? Thank you. -
Yes, it's a total of 145 episodes ;)
So your question is actually a controversial topic on this matter lol! First of all, there is no official sequel; an OVA called Tenkai-Hen Joso, also created by Kurumada during the Hades saga, would take place (chronologically speaking) after the end of Hades; but be careful, it's an OVA and it's not really a sequel! However, the mangas Lost Canvas and Next Dimension represent the same story but from 2 different perspectives (I don't know if you understand what I mean?); however, despite that, there are few common points given that they are 2 different authors and each has applied their personal touch; but only Lost Canvas has been adapted into an anime (13 OVAs planned), NOT Next Dimension (which is a shame because it would have been interesting to see the "differences"); for now, there are only 2 episodes subtitled in French by fansubs (these are not official subs, just like the last 18 episodes of Hades). I also point out that Lost Canvas (just like Next Dimension) does not really represent a sequel to Hades; it picks up the last Holy War with the knights of the time (so we go back in time).

No, there's still some leeway, don't worry ;) They're coming out little by little because they're only being broadcast in Japan; so it takes time to subtitle them... The first two came out a while ago and there was a delay between the two.

For your information, the Zeus Chapter does not exist; it's a very poorly made fan fiction.
Toei is working on the adaptation of Lost Canvas; the first 13 OVAs have been released in Japan, covering the first 7 volumes of the Lost Canvas manga, of which the 21st volume has been released in Japan (in France, the 13th volume is on its way).
Regarding Next Dimension, Kurumada has finally gotten to work on it; he has been working on it since 2006 and has only released 2 and a half volumes in Japan (while, during the same period, 21 volumes of Lost Canvas have been released).
But this is good news on his part because he plans to release one chapter per week this time.
The story of Next Dimension, unlike Lost Canvas (which tells the story of Tenma in the 18th century), is a direct sequel to Hades; the heroes, after defeating Hades, take a space-time portal and find themselves during the Holy War of 1753.
Kurumada also announced that he would work on the Zeus Chapter directly after finishing Next Dimension.-

However, I have a question ;) Next Dimension tells the story of our heroes (the 5 Bronze) who find themselves in 1753? But that's the same time period as Lost Canvas, right? The last Holy War? It must be strange for them to meet the old Gold Saints!!

not really shurette31, because Tenkai Han is just an OAV that absolutely does not represent the continuation of the Hades saga (despite appearances)!
We must now stop believing that a Zeus saga exists BECAUSE IT ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT! If you see a so-called Zeus saga, it's fan fiction, a story entirely made up by fans! Nothing to do with an official version!-

Hi, for now, I've come across a lot of pranks, each more ridiculous than the last, but the basic idea has been raised for several years. What remains are the technical means and especially other projects that haven't been completed yet, like producing a series based on the comics before the birth of Saori, where we can find our wonderful Sagittarius knight in his exploits with our old little Libra knight, who isn't so little after all, the Aries knight who turned out to be the second most powerful Gold Saint behind Mû, and many other surprises... Hello everyone, I just watched Saint Seiya Hades and Elysion, I liked it but I have a slight preference for the very first episodes. That’s not the point, but I am also looking for Saint Seiya Zeus Chapter, I've been searching everywhere online but I can't find anything except for a few clips on YouTube. If anyone knows where to find it, please let me know.

I found and watched the episodes on YouTube, but they're not official! They're created by fans, and they're so well done that I could have been fooled if the creators of these episodes ("Zeus") hadn't mentioned themselves at the end. However, it seems that the sequel to Elysion is planned and is indeed titled "Zeus." After that, I can't be 100% sure, but from spending quite a bit of time online, that's what comes out of it. By the way, if that's indeed the case, I would like to know the release dates...

As for the anime, for now it ends with TENKAÏ HEN-JOSO OVERTURE (in other words, the beginning of the Heaven Saga) which takes place right after ELYSION. And I don't think we will see the sequel anytime soon, as the next planned adaptation would be an earlier chapter, NEXT DIMENSION, it seems to me.

- Unfortunately, if you have seen the beginning of the Zeus saga online like I have, I regret to inform you that there is no official character and that it is the result of passionate fans' imagination... I have seen two different versions and this is mentioned at the end... I then paid more attention to the drawings and the movements of the characters and I noticed that there was indeed a difference from the previous episodes... When I speak of the beginning of the sky saga, I am referring to the film or the OAV "TENKAÏ-HEN JOSÔ-OVERTURE" (a must-watch!!!) which is an official "film" (the best - by far - of the 5 existing ones in my humble opinion). The action takes place shortly after the end of ELYION. Moreover, it seems to me that the literal translation of the title would be, give or take: "Celestial saga - overture". So nothing to do with the work (which I admire nonetheless) of those few fans, whether in terms of graphics or animation. Furthermore, in the very last seconds of TENKAÏ-HEN, we see Seiya donning a new armor, which we could call V5, if we consider the kamui-divine armor of ELYSION as V4... an open ending therefore that can give us reasons to hope...

No, I've only seen "THE HADES CHAPTER" which ends with ELYSION, then the official licensed Saint Seiya - made by Kurumada etc... etc... which is actually a movie (or an OAV depending on the terminology - the 5th and latest one): TENKAÏ-HEN JOSÔ-OVERTURE. You can find it, with French sub, quite easily on YouTube for example.

I saw the 5th movie Tenkai Hen, but there's something I don't get about the end. It's like Seiya doesn't remember anything after the attack against Athena's brother (maybe it's because it's poorly translated, I watched it in VOSTFR).

I can guarantee you 100000000000000% that after Elysium there really is Zeus. Don’t ask me how, it would be too long to explain, but in any case, those who say that Zeus is after Elysium, I applaud them because they are absolutely right.

You're absolutely right, the next anime for now is "The Lost Canvas" and the first OAV will be released in June in Japan. By the way, it's not an adaptation by Toei. Furthermore, they are going to launch a "TLC" range in myth cloth. I believe the Zeus chapter, if it ever sees the light of day (other than fan creations of course), isn't coming anytime soon.

Hello everyone, for those who think they know, well you're mistaken. For others like me, you have done your research. The Zeus chapter doesn't actually exist, meaning it's not official. This so-called chapter was entirely created by a super fan of CDZ, a Japanese guy who with several small movie clips plus personal drawings, draws himself like Zeus and the other knights you may have seen in issue 1. For your information, issue 2 is not finished yet.
But for everyone, I remind you that this is not the real official sequel.
Officially, Seiya is indeed dead. The true sequel, if we can call it that, is THE LAST CANVAS. -

You can get them anywhere, especially at Fnac or Amazon; I should specify that only the first 13 OAVs are available for sale; also, these are the uncensored versions :) Unlike the first 114 episodes which have had the masters released recently, the Hades saga has not been censored ;) There are 2 boxes: the one that only contains the French version (the cheapest) and the one that also contains the French subtitles; you can also purchase the episodes individually on DVD (5 DVDs with 2 episodes and 1 DVD with 3 episodes), but the boxes are of course more interesting (especially as a gift ;) )
