Hello,
I have a problem for the past two weeks, I can no longer send emails from my WORD page, it tells me:
WORD COULD NOT SEND MESSAGES DUE TO A MAPI FAILURE
There is indeed an explanation to be able to log in, but I don't understand anything and everything I found on the internet is not very clear. Yet I have the impression that I am not the only one with this problem.
Moreover, on MICROSOFT OFFICE OUTLOOK, I also cannot open the WORD pages that can be sent to me.
What is most strange is that everything was working fine, and I haven't changed anything on my computer, so it's a mystery ????????
Thank you for your help

A MAPI failure concerns one or more components that link programs; "another solution" is quite unlikely and especially if it exists, could become complicated to implement.
Reinstalling Word (without uninstalling) is not destructive and will be much faster in terms of time and complexity.

I prefer to uninstall OUTLOOK, I will open my emails in another way, whereas if I no longer have WORD, then I'll really be in trouble...
I can't force you, but reinstalling Word or even Office won't make it go away....
However, if your problem is Word, and you don’t have the Office CD for example, then I advise you to forget about Office and install OPEN OFFICE which is free, in French (multilingual), which does the same thing, is just as powerful, and is especially totally compatible with Microsoft Office (so it opens documents). You can even set it up to save in Microsoft format by default.
Finally, OPEN OFFICE and Microsoft Office can coexist without issue if you want to test it and set it as the default for opening Word documents (thus in Outlook as well).
That said, do as you see fit; in my profession, we always try to look for the simplest solutions, but it’s not the only option for everyone :-)
