Virgin Mobile recharge issue

Solved
Chouk -
 Va chier! -
Hello,

I have been with Virgin Mobile for quite some time now and I have an excess plan! But this month, I called too much and I no longer have any credit, so I bought a card to top up my phone, but the problem is that it doesn't work!!!!!!
On the card, it says to call 224 but that number doesn't work!
So I would like to know if this has happened to anyone before and if anyone knows which number to call????

Thanks in advance...

So Chouk, did you manage it? Because I have the same problem!! The 224 isn't working and since I'm out of credit, I'm even over my limit, well I don't have my unlimited texts anymore! I bought a 5 euro top-up at La Poste, but it's not working...

Every time I recharge my phone, I get ripped off; unlimited text messages don't exist, so I end up with 100 texts for 10 euros of credit, which is useless.

    Hello there!

Well, the "code" is the recharge code that appears on your recharge voucher that you would have purchased from a tobacco shop, post office, or elsewhere.
However, make sure to buy a Virgin recharge, and especially not Orange. Some people sometimes get confused about that.
If you ever have an issue with your recharge ticket, keep it and call customer service.

    Keep me posted!

    Bye

Hi. I have the same plan as you and the same problem as you! I think that if it doesn't work, it's because the plan isn't blocked.. I can go over my plan, so I can't recharge! I now have a top-up to throw away! Bye

      Hello to you!

Indeed, if you have an Excess plan, you cannot top it up since you can exceed it once your minutes are used up.
Recharges can be used with Prepaid Cards and Virgin Blocked Plans (which you recharge by credit card on the website).

      Bye!

      I have a question! :-)
I am on the easy plan, and I am over my limit by about €15.
Today I bought a recharge card for €10, which means I am losing €10, because I can't add it as credit?! :-/.
If this is really the case, why does no one warn? :o

      Hi!
I have an easy plan, and I currently have €15 in extra charges.
All my friends told me that I could buy a card to get through the month.
      So that's what I did!
But it's not working, is it because I don't have a capped plan?
If that's the case, great, €10 down the drain :-/.

      Hello Noémie,

I confirm that recharging is only possible with a blocked plan or a prepaid card. Feel free to check the pricing and services of your plan on the website www.virginmobile.fr. I remain at your disposal for any further inquiries. Have a nice day.

      Hello!

I had the same issue and I now understand why! (Unblocked plan)
Since I don't know anyone who has a suitable Virgin plan for the recharge, I'm posting the code here! (10 euros purchased at the tobacco shop)
      37134410183813

Hoping this helps someone, it would be nice from Virgin to clearly indicate on the site that the recharge service is not accessible for unblocked plans....

      Best of luck.

    Good evening,

I am also with Virgin Mobile and I have never had this problem because I top up by dialing *144#, then in reply I enter the number corresponding to the "recharge" section, I press send, a text appears and I click on reply to enter the numbers from the top-up card and I send it,

I dial *144# but it tells me that the number is incorrect, even though I bought it just last night. It didn't work yesterday either; it's a €15 recharge.

And when you top up on the site, does it give you a top-up code or do you have to call customer service to get it? I topped up for €13 but I don't have the top-up code -_-

Are you still on Virgin? I'm looking for a sponsor for a month of free service for both you and me.
      Best regards

VIRGIN MOBILE HAS TERRIBLE SERVICE THEY GIVE YOU A NUMBER BUT NO CREDIT IF ACTIVATED ON 31-09 too bad for 1-10 = no credit for the month, but to cancel your previous operator if, no one is capable in a month of activating a miserable "prisonsim" plan and on November 1st at 10 AM still nothing they are useless the customer service can do nothing just respond for nothing even if the calls are not free.

But it happens to me the same whenever I want to recharge, I call 224, I give my number and it tells me that the recharge of your account is technically impossible and it has been a week that this has been happening to me!!!
So I'm also trying to find a way!!

I just tried to recharge by phone. They talk you into entering numbers, #, ... then after 2 minutes and 40 seconds of call, the nice lady tells you that the recharging service is unavailable. But after 3 minutes of call, the call becomes free, what a bummer!! It's just f****g services inspired directly by Orange, or what????

I go to *144# and you respond by typing 1, that's to recharge, and you enter the numbers from the card.
