Password longer than 8 characters Closed

Hello,
I bought a laptop yesterday. I set a password to open it, but this morning when I tried to turn it on... I realized I must have made a mistake, as I entered a password of more than 8 characters, but starting from 8 my computer doesn’t accept it anymore... it doesn't show anything... could it be that the computer only accepts a password of 8 characters maximum? ...

I haven’t forgotten my password, it's just too long, I feel like, and because of this, I can’t open it anymore... HELP :)

normally it should work by using the 8 characters from the "beginning" of the password you used
