Hello,
I would like to change the name of my email address without having to change accounts. Or if that's not possible, how can I transfer my personal space from the old address to the new one?

The simplest way is to create a new email address on the service of your choice:
Then, set up the new email account to import messages from the old account, so that you don't lose your messages.
Finally, set up the old account to automatically forward all received emails to the new address. Gmail, for example, offers filters that allow you to decide which emails you want to forward or not (not the spams, not certain ads, etc.)
