Driver for Samsung VP-D81 camcorder unavailable

Hello,

I own a Samsung VP-D81 camcorder which is about 5 years old and unfortunately I can’t find the installation CD and I’m unable to find the drivers on the net, surely due to the camcorder’s age.
I also used this camcorder as a webcam and without the drivers it’s impossible to use this function again
Could someone help me

    Hello,
    I’m facing the same issue as you but 2 years later. Have you found a solution? Knowing that I am on Windows 7.

    I still had the installation CD, but it doesn’t work with Vista. Therefore, the solution is not to use USB but to use the FireWire cable (around 10 euros); thus your device is recognized by Windows Movie Maker and the problems are over.
