Hello,
I would like to have information about the Mobile Packet Backbone Network in the core of the GSM network, and gather all the information on the MPBN and the GSM network

Note: I would like to know why a MPBN is decided to be implemented in a GSM network (its impact) and how to dimension this MPBN

    The advantages of MPBN are multiple as it combines several nodes including SGSN, GGSN, ...... it also allows for GPRS, locally, while roaming ..........
    it is based on the GSM network.

    Just a clarification, the Mobile Packet is much more focused on handling IP traffic within the telecom network. Its role is also to manage the traffic from other NGN nodes, such as the Media Gateway (MGW), the SGSN, and the GGSN, which handles GPRS traffic, but it uses the MPBN as a gateway to an ISP. In short, the MPBN is the collection of switches and routers that manage IP traffic.
