Hi, I happened to pass by and I will recount what I noticed recently (maybe you've experienced the same thing).

The other morning, I thought I heard a knock at my door (I often have headphones on since I'm a musician and need to practice my instrument in my apartment). Anyway, I took off my headphones, opened the door, and nothing. Five minutes later, filled with doubt, I went back to open my door, and guess what I saw? A big package in front of my door, and it was addressed to my neighbor, too!! And I can tell you that when I got home in the evening, my neighbor was happy I grabbed his package; otherwise, it could have disappeared, since I suppose the delivery person must have signed the receipt themselves. Now, the icing on the cake: the package contained a laptop!!!!!!!

These things never happen with UPS or DHL, but Coliposte is super hit or miss; it all depends on the delivery person—sometimes they don't even knock on the doors, just leave a notice of passage.

Good evening,
I happened to come across this email. Would you believe that I had issues with my Pixmania package - which I wouldn't recommend by the way. I did receive the order, I signed the delivery receipt from the postman, but oh! surprise! the box was empty!
After numerous efforts with the company through emails and phone calls, I finally managed to get a refund for one item out of the three ordered. And the post office did their job.

Hi,

I have another problem. I sent a tracked package and the recipient says they received the parcel ripped open and empty!!!
Weird. I knew there was some theft at the post office, but delivering an empty package is something else.
What can I do?
Has anyone else encountered the same issue?

Well, I think the recipient is probably trying to pull one over on you.
Was it a package delivered against a signature? If so, he shouldn’t have signed; otherwise, you don’t care, it’s not your problem.
And if the guy is indeed honest and not involved, and if receiving the package didn’t require a signature, then in my opinion, he's out of luck.
When I order, to avoid all this, I only order cash on delivery, except for new items from big retailers, there it's no problem.

I contacted the post office, the package was delivered damaged but with weight inside. However, I can file a complaint with the post office. Moreover, it was on eBay with payment via PayPal, so the buyer is covered for €200.

If your client did not accept the package, you only have to turn against the post office and refund the client with the compensation from the post office.

If the client accepted a damaged package, that's a problem :p, they should have refused it!!!

They will ask you for a refund while you have no recourse to get reimbursed by the post office, but you are not obligated to do it; it’s up to you whether you want to make a goodwill gesture.

Hi, well it's the same for me. I was supposed to receive a camcorder worth 250 euros for my father's birthday. The order tracking says it was delivered to my mother's workplace on 06/05/09, but there's still nothing.
I think someone must have taken it, or maybe the post office didn't carry out the order; I don't know...
If anyone could give me some solutions because losing a 250 euro gift hurts.
