PC Power Safety Setup

Solved

Bonjour,
I think my power supply went into safety mode (yes, fiddling with the power sockets while the PC is running is not a good idea). I've had this problem before (no, I wasn't messing with the sockets... I'm an idiot but not a total idiot). Anyway, at that time I asked a question on a forum, and a kind citizen of the IT planet explained to me how to reset my power supply... by shorting (creating a short circuit) between the green wire and the black wire (this is where I'm stuck, I don’t remember the colors) of the power supply connector to the motherboard... then plug in the power supply, and voila, a little "click" and the fan starts spinning again, I remove the short circuit and reconnect everything... and it works... So, thinking I have the same problem, could someone please remind me which wires I need to short?

Thank you all :)

Blanco

P.S.: If I remember correctly, it’s the green and the black, but since I'm not sure, I don't want to try them all and have to go back every 5 minutes to reset the circuit breakers in the house :)
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

Hello again

Problem solved, thank you Zavenger, I didn't know this method which is still more convenient than mine ;-) I'll take note of it, thank you very much
