Hello :)

Well, I suppose this question has already been asked, but I've searched and found nothing.

I would like to know why the emule icon sometimes has a mask and how to remove it :s ?

Thank you for your reply :)
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 2.0.0.14

When the eMule icon has a mask, it means you are in LowID, which means your ports are not open on your router...

What internet service provider do you have?

Hi,

the mule is masked when the ports are closed and you should be in lowID anyway. To avoid this problem, just configure your firewall and router to have the ports open; there are many tutorials on the eMule website for that.

Hello

it's because you are on lowid

so it downloads but not at full power

you must have a firewall that is blocking the flows

unblock the firewall of your router with this link
http://www.emule-france.com/...

and here for your firewall and antivirus

So, I did what I was asked for the configuration of my router, but my ports are not correct:

TCP: 26939
UDP: 8521

The start port must be less than or equal to the end port.

So which one should I set?

Everything is explained here
http://www.commentcamarche.net/faq/sujet 2585 emule lowid

Once you've changed your ports, open them on the router and your firewall

Well, after setting all that up, it hasn't changed anything.

Well, 4 hours later, I went for the most radical option xD
Unplugging the wifi hehe

Thanks anyway for the links, I'll try again later :)

It will start again, the fact of 'unplugging the wifi seems strange to me as a solution for a low ID, but if it works, good for you

Thank you for the link, I will try it tonight.

Yes, it worked as soon as I turned off the Wi-Fi.
And I was able to do all my downloads :)

If it’s still working well, a piece of advice, don’t touch anything else ;-)
