Hello,
I am looking for a website that creates free birthday invitation ecards.
It’s for my husband’s 30th birthday. Also, if you have any ideas for the text: the party will be held at a restaurant and we would like each guest to pay for their own meal (we will only cover the appetizers). How can we communicate this elegantly in the invitation?

If you want to make a rather humorous card, I suggest thinking about current events and having fun with them or doing something quirky. For example, take a phrase like "I will run for 2012..." and tweak it in relation to your husband, his age, your desire to be with him, etc.
For more serious texts, you can research websites that provide quotes from famous authors. These sites have a search engine where you can type "age," birthday, or old, etc. Hopefully, you'll come across a funny quote.

You copy the text and paste it onto your e-card (don't forget to personalize the text)
For the design of your card, instead of taking a pre-made card, why not take a digital photo of your husband and modify it in a fun way with a little drawing software? You can easily fake a photo, add mustaches, muscles, etc. It's very easy. Then, you send it to him by email. After all, that's what an e-card is. Have fun!
