Hello Sara,
I'm having a problem reinstalling a game. I tried Rainbow Mystery DeLuxe, and after the 60 minutes, I purchased the game.
It was unlocked immediately after my payment was accepted, but I didn't receive a confirmation email or an order number.
This is now the 4th time I've requested an unlock code. I provided my purchase date and the charge from my credit card on 11/5/2007 for the amount of 24.90 made out to ZYLOM MEDIA GROUP BV SCUNTHORPE 24.90 UK.
To this day, I haven't received a response; my last reminder was last week.

When formatting your PC,
your game was deleted;
upon reinstalling the game for the second time, the code became invalid.
As a result, when you request a new code;
it's as if you had the game twice (obviously not for you, of course...).
The site does not send you the activation code a second time because the server or the bot program that sends the code only validates this code once (it’s to prevent piracy).
>Perhaps there is another option on this site to renew a code in the site menu?
>Moreover, isn't it quite dishonest of them not to have sent you the confirmation email and the order number (proof of your purchase)?
>Before formatting: always make a backup on CD or DVD, if possible.
Sorry for you, no recourse possible...
See you later

Goodbye,
I know all this because it's the second time I've formatted my hard drive. The first time, with Bonty, I backed up the games and reinstalled them, but they didn't work either, it's like we were pirating. They told me I had to fill out that the game was already purchased and provide all the details regarding the order, payment, download site, and purchase dates. It took a long time to get a response. I ended up sending a letter directly to the company with copies of the order confirmation emails and the unlock numbers.
They replied that I should not back up the games, but the game setup called smpu. I have done that since, and they sent me codes for 3 games, and I had to reinstall the games by clicking on smpu and filling in all the information. Then they emailed me a new code for each game, and through the smpu setup, I was able to reinstall my games because this time I followed that procedure and was sent a code. However, in the game bought from Zylom, the smpu setup does not exist. When I want to play, it asks me "game already purchased," I answer yes and fill in all the required fields up to order number, which I do not have. I skip this part and below there is a correspondence box where I explain that the game was purchased on 11/5/07 at the end of the trial period, that no order or confirmation email was sent to me, and I add the details of my payment: the date, the game, and the payment order that appears on my credit card statement. I validate all this and receive an email saying that my request will be processed within 48 hours, otherwise I would have to repeat my request. I am now on my third attempt and nothing! I call this a disregard for the customers. Because, truth be told, I had bought 4 games totaling around €100.00, and now on the Zylom site, they offer to send a reinstallation CD for an additional €5. At the time when I played the purchased game, the website would open, and I played online. Moreover, a golden asterisk appeared next to the list of favorite games indicating that the game was unlocked, and since the reinstallation, with the same username and coordinates, this asterisk has disappeared. And I can't even play as I do with Bookworm, Luxor, etc. As soon as I click on it, a window pops up stating "trial period expired, game already purchased?" and I have to go through the whole process again. The most annoying part is that I have gifted games to friends for various occasions, and an email was sent to them saying that ollympe 62 is pleased to offer you the download of the game (name), please click to download. How are they going to manage the day they format their hard drive or change PCs?

Moreover, I forgot to mention that when I go into the reinstalled game, the validation date of 27/11/2007 appears, the license has all been reinstalled to the original date and I am not given an unlock code because I reinstalled everything on 27/3/2008 and the original dates appear for all the games. What I think is that you shouldn't install a game on the C drive: instead, partition your hard drive and install it on D or on an external drive. Because my saves are on D, as after my first formatting, I partitioned my hard drive.
Finally, following my comment from June 18, 2008, an idea came to me. While writing that the validation date was 11/27/2007, it clicked, and right after that, I clicked on the game's icon and filled in all the lines, even the one where I specified that my email address had changed. In the order number field, instead of leaving it blank, I added that I did not have an order number, mode of payment, etc. Then, in the message box, I reiterated my request, and as I mentioned that I have the license dated 11/27/2007, I opened the license file and copied all the text and pasted it at the end of my message.
Today, the Zylom site sent me a message saying they had noted my new address and asked me to reinstall the game, enter my new address, and close the game, and that after this procedure, they would send me a new code. I just reinstalled the game, followed all the instructions, and now I’m waiting for my new code.
Let’s see if I get this code...

Hello, I have the same problem, Zylom is not reactivating my game, I've rebooted my PC several times and now I can't launch my game without going through them.... I call this theft because I bought this game and apparently they still own it... that's not normal... in the meantime, despite several emails, they haven't replied to me so I think I have over 55 euros down the drain since I bought two... that's it, Zylom, I'm done with them.
My problem is that I bought this game, I paid for it, and my PC has been reformatted.
I reinstalled the game, but I can't play anymore because it requires an activation code that I've requested several times, and the Zylom site doesn't respond despite my evidence and follow-ups.
Even when I want to play without downloading, the site blocks me, saying my trial period has expired, so I have €24.90 down the drain.
Not to mention that I bought downloadable games online to give as gifts; I hope those people don't change PCs or have to format their hard drives.
