Hello, I would like to know how to enlarge your profile picture on Facebook? I tried to increase the original file size but it doesn't work! Thank you in advance

The first thing you need to know is the maximum space you have. Facebook displays the profile picture with a maximum width of 200 pixels. If you exceed this, Facebook will resize your profile picture to 200 pixels while maintaining the vertical ratio. However, Facebook will display up to 600 pixels in height on your profile page. Therefore, Facebook will gladly show an image that is 200 x 600 without any modification.

It's neither infographics nor even photography.
But without putting in too much effort, and without knowing Facebook, I assume that if you have already tried to enlarge the original image, it's because the site limits the size and resizes by default.

use the 1x3 ratio (1=width, 3=length) for your profile, it works regardless of the number of pixels. so for a photo that is 200 pixels wide, it should be 600 pixels long.
300 width => 900 length
400 width => 1200 length
...in short...just multiply the width by 3 =)

Yes, put me, I want to use a cover photo for the new Facebook but it has to be at least 399 pixels wide and my photo is only 342 pixels wide or something like that. How or which site should I go to in order to enlarge it? Thank you in advance.

You just need to upload your photo and choose the number of pixels you want for the width or height.

However, be careful with enlargements; obviously, the more you enlarge, the more quality is lost.
