Inserer une image dans Jframe

j'ai un probléme d'insertion d'une image dans ma jframe. J'ai travaillé avec jlabel mais ça marche pas voila ce que j'ai fait
public utilisateur() {
initComponents();
ImageIcon image1 = new ImageIcon("le fichier.GIF") ; // Tu créer ton objet ImageIcon comme tu veux
jLabel4.setIcon(image1);
jLabel4.setText(null);
}
