Vehicle Scam Ivory Coast (and +) Notary

A very beautiful old and well-restored 205 GTI at a reasonable price may interest a varied clientele. Why not a notary? When he turns out to be based in Ivory Coast, doubt is already latent. When he offers to reserve without seeing, doubt is strengthened. When he informs you that your share of tax to be paid under the cover of UEMOA, doubt is swept away... he's a scammer!! I didn't fall for it, BUT this person uses the name of a real notary practicing in Ivory Coast: Me GBETIBOUO Jean-Augustin, notary in Ivory Coast, as listed in the official list of members of the Chamber of Notaries.

The alleged scammer "operates" under the identity of Me GBETIBOUO Jean-Augustin, notary "Jean Augustin Gbetibouo .." <notaire_7@inMail24.com> I filed a complaint against X as a principle. Avoid being scammed!

    I also just received an email from this gentleman "Master" Jean Augustin Bbetibouo, a notary in Abidjan, claiming to be the next deputy of the ambassador of Côte d'Ivoire in Portugal. However, this ambassador does not exist since Côte d'Ivoire does not have any embassy in Portugal. I just found this same name on a list of notaries on the United States embassy website, which reassured me for a moment. But my doubt was confirmed, thanks to this forum as well: someone is impersonating the real Ivorian notary Jean Augustin. In my case, he claims to want to buy a property that I have put up for sale online. He did not question the price or the fact that the property is quite far from Lisbon.

    It's not serious to tarnish people's names in this way; the notary in question has also been deceived by these land sellers. The latter presented him with original documents of lands signed by the Ministry of Construction, so I think the fraud comes from the ministry and its agents; the notary is not involved. I remind you that before carrying out a sale, the notary writes to various services to verify the documents, and it is only when they give their approval that he can proceed with the sale. Therefore, the fraud is not at his level!!!!!

    I was a victim of the notary Maître GBETIBOUO Jean-Augustin, a notary who sold me a plot of land in 2001 and to this day, I have not taken possession of my land.

    Maybe this gentleman is really acting with the approval of Maître Gbotibouo; Because this notary brought in people to extort money from me, pretending one thing or another...
    Right now, I would like to sue this notary for abuse of power and fraud.
