The setupdd.sys file could not be loaded

Hello,
my problem starts when my computer stops working, so I thought it might be a little virus or something... I decided to format it again... but then the big problem is when I start the formatting, it stops at the beginning... I get the following message:
the file setupdd.sys could not be loaded, the error code is 4.
the installation program cannot continue.
press any key to exit.
it's not a laptop, please help me, I have all my work on my computer and I don't want to lose it, thanks

    Here is what I found on http://www.hotline-pc.org/installationproblemes.htm

    - "The setupdd.sys file could not be loaded":
    The following errors may also occur: "The error code is 4" or "An unexpected error has occurred" or "The acpi.sys file is corrupted, press a key to continue." These are always memory stick issues.

    Remove the battery from the motherboard and start your computer, then configure the BIOS to boot from the XP CD, and good luck.
