tamagotchi familitchi: put it on pause

Hello,

We have a Familitchi tamagotchi and had another one previously. The previous one could be paused by pressing the left button and the middle button at the same time. I can't find anything in the manual to pause this one, and every day while my daughter is at school, the characters die. So she can't progress at all. Please let me know if it is possible to pause it and how to do so. There is nothing in the manual about this.
I believe it is the V5.

Pour mettre le Tamagotchi v 5 en pause, il faut appuyer sur l'icône TV et mettre Travel Show, ensuite attendez puis appuyez sur "Go" et puis voilà, à+.

Pour mettre sur pause votre Tamagotchi V5, il suffit d'abord de lire la notice et ensuite je vais vous dire comment on fait, ça vous évitera de lire la notice alors commençons :
c'est très simple, allez sur l'icône de la télé et là vous aurez 3 propositions, choisissez la dernière, attendez et une fois que votre Tamagotchi est parti dans un car, c'est en pause en fait, c'est comme une pause personnalisée, ça bouge mais c'est quand même sur pause !!!!

go to the TV icon...
