Hello,
I just registered and I hope someone can help me. Here's the thing, I had Corel Print House 4 which I find very user-friendly. Now that I've changed computers, I'm on Vista. I can no longer reinstall my Corel software. Do you have a solution? Or a similar and compatible software?

I had the same problem with this software that I find very user-friendly and very practical
I too tried to get it to work with the piece of junk Vista and no luck.
And then ................ for 8 days now, oh miracle, I was able to install this software and especially to get it working

I have this software, which includes Photo House 3 and Print House 4.
Unfortunately, the latter no longer works on Vista.
It was given to me free of charge when I bought an Agfa scanner. Since the software has no license number, I assume it is legal to copy it? If so, I am willing to help you.

Hello Erka, yes that's it I'm on Windows XP Pro and it works.
Try this:
1. put the software in the CD
2. click on the software
3. click on Properties
4. click on Compatibility
5. check Run this program in compatibility mode for:
and set it to Windows 95, or 98, or 2000.
6. click apply
7. Normally it should work. I

I know it works on XP, I use it regularly, but unfortunately, I haven’t been able to get it to work on Vista to this day……

Results identical to those from 2 or 3 months ago.... This suite still does not work under Vista (at least, for me)
What could be different on your OS compared to my OS? (My OS is free of any other software and is up to date with the latest updates)
Any ideas?
... Are you sure you tested all the options? It's mainly Print House that's causing problems...
On my side, I found a workaround; you just need to install the "Virtual PC" software (free) under Vista and install an XP and the famous Corel there... It's a bit heavy to use, but when you have dozens of .CPH it's reassuring to always be able to open them...
