Probleme wifi Edubuntu

Bonjour a tous,

J'ai un problème a vous soumettre, mon pere est passer il a qq temps deja a un dual boot XP/edubuntu,
Pas trop de problème pour tous les les périphériques bien reconnue (même un scanner SCSI datant de mathusaleme, pour dire)
Sauf avec sa clé USB wifi, qui au départ, n'était pas reconnue (j'ai vue sur le forum que c'était courant)
après une mise a jour de linux, la clé est enfin reconnue, MAIS pas de connexion internet possible.

On dispose d'une freebox V4 avec une carte wifi.
Je peut faire un ping sur la freebox, elle réponds.
Mais la configuration automatique marche pas.
J'ai essayer en manuel, mais ça plante aussi.

Si quelqu'un a une piste, je vous en serait reconnaissant

PS : Je connais pas trop linux, n'ayant pas eu la motivation suffisante pour faire la transition, donc considérer moi comme débutant svp

PPS : j'aurai pas le PC sous les yeux avant ce week end, donc j'aurai juste besoin de piste, je vous tiendrait au courant quand j'aurai pu faire des essais

Si la carte wifi est reconnue le plus dur est fait. Il suffit de configurer /etc/network/interfaces conformément à :

En cas de soucis précise nous les résultats des commandes (pour le iwconfig masque ta clé si elle apparaît) : 
/sbin/iwconfig
/sbin/ifconfig
/sbin/route -n
cat /etc/resolv.conf

Assure toi que ta freebox est en mode routeur, et précise nous quel mode d'authentification tu utilises (en WEP ça marche mais si tu mets du WPA c'est mieux)

bon, j'ai rajouter une ligne dans le fichier de config

wpa-key truc much

je sauvegarde, je restart le truc

et ca m'affiche ca

Oui mais ce n'est pas wmaster0 qu'il faut utiliser je pense. Il faudrait aussi me donner le résultat des commandes que je t'ai demandé dans <2>. Je t'invite aussi à lire :
