Hello,
I am sending you this email to find a solution to a very annoying problem I am experiencing.
Namely:
I have an OpenOffice.org 2.0 file that I cannot open. When I attempt to open it, a "message box" appears telling me:
"Read error.
Format error in the sub-document content.xml of the file, position 2,9966714 (row, col)."
Could you please guide me so that I can recover my data?
Best regards
SV

Hi,
I experienced the same "thing" just this morning! I even sent out an SOS on the forum... I managed to recover my work in maybe not the most academic way, but it worked! I downloaded GNUMERIC
(https://framalibre.org which was able to read my corrupted file. Then I just had to rename it and save it. A few data points came out a bit "messed up", but nothing catastrophic compared to the outright loss of a month's work!
Good luck!
