Conceil carte graphique

Bonjour :)

Voilà j'éspère que vous pourrez m'aider; je voudrais acheter une carte graphique qui puisse augmenter ma mémoire vidéo, je suis passé sur Cdiscount et j'ai trouvé une 8500 gt 512 MO dont voici le lien :

Comme cela fait longtemps que je n'ai pas apporté de modifications à mon ordi je voudrais savoir si c'est vraiment une bonne affaire (le prix me parait assez bas et je ne voudrais pas me faire avoir.)

Ensuite je voudrais être sur : peut on mettre toutes les cartes grapghiques sur toutes les cartes mères ?

Voilà merci de m'aider (Ma carte graphique actuel est une SIS 661 FX/GX Mirage graphics et ma carte mère est une intel celeron D346 je crois).

P.S je voudrais aussi augmenter ma ram qui ai très basse auriez vous quelques conseils ?

    S'lut.

    Déjà, pour savoir si la 8500GT rentrera, il faut t'assurer que ta carte mère possède un port PCI-Express, pour ça, télécharge le logiciel Everest et regarde. Pareil pour la ram, regarde la fréquence et la taille de la barrette puis dis moi.

    Il faut savoir quelle port a ta carte graphique sur ta carte mère: agp ou pci?
    Il faut aussi que tu regardes les caractéristiques de ta mémoire: PC 133? PC 3200...

    Bon alors je ne suis pas sur de la bonne démarche mais je suis allé dans everest puis longlet carte mère et je n'ai pas vu de PCI-Express juste des bus sis mutiol de largeur 16 bits pour les bus chipset, des bus intel GTL+ de largeur 64 bits pour le bus principal, et des DDR SDRAM de 64 bits pour le bus mémoire alors ?

    P.S nom de la carte mère : Acer E661 GXM

    bonjour punisher,

    comme te le dit u-boulet, il faut d'abord savoir quel est le port graphique de ta carte mère, AGP ou PCI Express ; sans cette information, on ne peut pas aller plus loin

    D'apres ta réference de carte mère, je pense que tu as de l'AGP :

    Pour ta RAM, tu peux rajouter une autre barette identique à celle que tu as , une 512 Mo DDR 400Mhz PC 3200
    tu auras ainsi 1 Go de RAM, ce qui est pas bien pour XP
