Good evening everyone,
I would like to create cliparts, so to draw them neatly and color them. After quite a bit of research through our favorite search engine, I haven't found anything except sites that offer ready-made cliparts, but not exactly what I'm looking for...
So I wanted to know which software to use for drawing, coloring, etc.... or how to do it?
Thank you for your help!

Hello,
A clipart is a vector drawing (unless I'm mistaken), so to do what you’re saying, you'll need software like Adobe Illustrator, which is relatively expensive and complex. But I think you won’t have trouble finding information about this software online. Otherwise, try free software, but I don’t know any. Try looking here https://forum.hardware.fr/hfr/Graphisme/Infographie-2D/logiciel-vectoriel-gratuit-sujet_13005_1.htm if you find something interesting.
P.S.: I don’t have all the answers and I might be wrong! -
Hello,
Here's a free one: https://inkscape.org/release/inkscape-0.92.4/
And it [Inkscape] has many resources, for example: https://inkscape.org/doc/shapes/tutorial-shapes.fr.html or even http://usd.lucretius-ada.com/zcvisitor/62b70a6d-4883-11ea-aa74-12644060207f?campaignid=0d1dff40-82d7-11e9-9533-0a157bfa6bfc There are plenty more (resources)....
Illustrator is indeed great, especially its price (960 euros -excluding tax-).... -
I'm going to test it and I'll let you know in the meantime...
The problem is that I'm on GNU - ubuntu... but I'll install it with wine or playonlinux, it should work!
Thanks -
WITHOUT A TABLET you can also draw it and then scan it
and save it as png or bmp
with just Microsoft Word you can follow the lines
and edit them in dot mode -
Yes, it seems to be vector-based, since we can enlarge it to any size without it looking bad...
However, I have no idea how to draw the latest one, coloring it, I think any free or paid software can do that... but to do it with clean curves, etc., that's the question...!
Thank you for your response! -
Hi,
That's the big problem with Adobe products that are super powerful. But if you've found what makes you happy, that's the most important thing. -
Hello,
apparently what I need is a graphic tablet... I don't know which brand to turn to, nor the size.
Should I go for A6, 5, or 4? The interesting thing is that WACOM remains compatible with GNU/Linux across all their models, but it's SUPER EXPENSIVE, while AIPTEK offers models between 50 and 100 euros in A4, which is definitely very interesting...
Personally, I can't imagine drawing on an A6 format drawing... unless we can zoom in or something?! HELP?
I think I'm going to check this out in store, they can connect one for me live to try it out... :')
What do you think?!
thanks good night ;)
