Winamp plays track by track

Hello,

I have a little issue with Winamp.

I created a playlist.
It is actually the soundtrack of a theater show.
I don’t want Winamp to play the tracks continuously and I don’t know how to stop it.
Because when it comes to two very short effects that are played one after the other, while the second is supposed to happen a few minutes later, it becomes a bit annoying.

Hence my question: can you create a playlist in Winamp but have the piece play activated manually?

I’ve searched various forums but usually people ask to have the tracks play automatically or with fade effects, etc... but I would like to do the opposite....

Thank you in advance and I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards
Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 2.0.0.13

Hi,

just click the repeat button until the option to play once appears.

Hello,

Well... I thought about it, but when I click on the repeat button, I have three options:

1 Repeat OFF
2 Repeat TRACK
3 Repeat ALL

If I choose option 1.... well it moves on to the next track...
If I choose option 2.... well it repeats the track that is playing...
If I choose option 3.... well it moves on to the next track and repeats the playlist once it reaches the end...

However, what I want is no repeat and stop after the track ends so that I can send the next one at the right time...

Thank you for your help...

Best regards.

Sorry, I read a bit too fast!
I know it's possible, but I don't remember how... I'll tell you this evening because I don't have that program at work right now.

Hello,

to prevent the tracks from playing continuously, simply go to options/preferences/playlist and check the box "manual playback"
That said, I don't know if you have the same version of Winamp as I do.
I have the latest version of Winamp 5 in French.

Hello,

Thank you for taking an interest in my case.

I have version 5.531 of Winamp.

And in "Options/Preferences/Playlist" there is no "Manual Playback".

I have tried checking and unchecking several options whose names I don't even understand and what they might be for, but nothing works!!!

My problem remains unchanged...

Best regards.

Hello, it's me again,

I found it!!!

It was me who was messing up from the start...

Instead of looking in "playlist," I was looking in "play"!

Sorry for this waste of time!!!!

Thanks again to everyone!

Best regards,

Igniatius
