Another way is to search for the person's name on Google in quotes: "first name last name" and also "last name first name". If there are many results, try adding gmail or yahoo:

"first name last name" gmail

Finally, if you know which company the person works for, just try to find emails of other people in the company to determine the email address format. For example:

or

first_letter_of_first_name.last_name@company_name.com

I've found an easier solution:

-go to the section at the bottom of "add a MSN Hotmail contact" and click on search for someone, then a webpage will open and you write the first and last name in the box and there you go, give it a try.
