Hello, Not really easy to find the right directory to post this... but here I go!  We know that "@" is called at sign, that "_" is named underscore, and that "#" is referred to as hash... But what about the others?  A little list, and I am missing a lot! Can you illuminate my lanterns?  @ = at sign # = hash ~ = tilde £ = pound $ = dollar € = euro % = percentage... { = brace  Well, let's move on to the harder ones:  & = § = µ = micro (micro SD is written µSD) \ = backslash / = slash  And even harder:  ¤ (altGr + $) = ° (above the closing parenthesis) = | (altGr + 6) = `(AltGr + 7) =   > This post is not supposed to hurt your head... <

To summarize? & = ampersand § = paragraph µ = micro \ = backslash / = slash ¤ (altGr + $) = currency symbol ° = degree | (altGr + 6) = "pipe", vertical bar ' (AltGr + 7) = accent that you place on the letter you want, provided it's possible, example: pacò dèl la lucìbìàz. You first type the accent then the letter ² = superscript 2, "squared", like 3m² = three square meters. < = less than sign > = greater than sign % = percent * = asterisk ¨= diaeresis, press shift + the letter you want to "diaerize", capitalized or not. Example: Räy ChärlËs is n'ëst pÄs a geek! ! = exclamation point [elementary, my dear Watson! ;-) ]
