By installing Thunderbird, which is freeware, you can use an LDIF address book, which you can then export as a tab or comma-separated file.
Not very elegant, but it should work...

Unfortunately, this does not answer the question...

I confirm, it works! I did it yesterday to transfer a contacts file from Outlook 3 to the Address Book of an iMac.
Download Thunderbird, Mozilla's email client, install it, and configure the account(s): essential!
Then import the Outlook 3 Contacts file into Thunderbird. It happens directly on the PC; you just need to follow the steps after clicking on Import.
Still in Thunderbird: export the file in .ldif format to a USB drive.
Connect the drive to the Mac and go to Address Book / File / Import and empty the USB drive into the Address Book. It all falls into place automatically. There may be misalignments of fields, but it's minor and easily fixable. Total time around 10-15 minutes if you take it slow.

Hello!
It’s not working for me, I can't import my Windows Live Messenger contacts (in CSV file) into Thunderbird. The goal is to save them in LDIF format to transfer my contacts to a MacBook.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks in advance!
