MUI Problem??

Hello,
I have a big problem with something called MUI... I can't install anything from the internet without getting an error message saying "No MUI entry is loaded in the resource loader cache."
What does this message mean? What is MUI? Is it serious?

Another problem is that some programs that were already installed and used before are no longer working... I click on the icon and nothing happens! This problem has only been observed with Mozilla Firefox and Power Cinema from Packard Bell... I uninstalled Power Cinema, but I can't reinstall it because of this error message!

Are the two problems related??

I already ran a virus scan with AVG but found nothing...

Thanks in advance ;)
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

      Hi
      Have you solved your problem?
On Dell Inspiron 1720 and Vista: same issue
I think it appeared due to a virus? that modified the registry key to prevent any new installation of an antivirus (and consequently any other software)

Hello everyone! I think that MUI (Multilingual User Interface) means that you no longer have the language registry on your PC. It may seem complex, but I believe that during a download, the server needs to check this. How could the MUI file have disappeared? This might be due to CCleaner during a registry check by the system, which is why it is strongly recommended to keep a backup of the registry before deleting it; that being said, if you back up the registry, you may not have lost that famous MUI file. You just need to find the right one and recover the folder. Good luck to everyone, and I hope I have provided a favorable answer for the proper functioning of your computer.
