Missing MUI reference keeps coming back?

Hello,

after doing my first formatting, I ran Ccleaner, the registry showed many lines and I repaired everything as usual. Now every time I want to clean the registry, it finds a missing MUI reference:
Missing MUI reference @%SystemRoot%\system32\oobefldr,-33057 HKCU\Software\Classes\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\MuiCache

how can I make this line stop appearing every time, please?
thank you in advance

I don't see how to add my question, so I'm using "Post a reply," sorry.
I have the same problem, reported by NORTON Internet Security. MUICache no longer exists on my PC.
I do have a MUISetup.ex_ on my original WinXP CD, but I don't know how to activate it since the underscore replaces the last "e" in "exe."
If anyone among you finds it on their PC, please be kind enough to send it to me by email as an attachment, possibly compressed with WinZIP.

I have another problem: The "Ctrl+Alt+Del" command that used to show running applications no longer works. Is there a good Samaritan in the room?

bonjour,

Well..., don't use CCleaner anymore.

original your username.

Well, that's not a big deal then!!! (before the formatting I didn't have that line popping up...)

And what do I use to clean the registry on Vista??? I have CCleaner and NTREGOPT. There may be something better...?
Any ideas maybe??? Thanks.

Yes, Auslogics BoostSpeed does everything: history eraser, disk cleaner, defragmentation...

The formatting was due.

Cleaning the registry brings more benefits to the user than to the system.
It has no effect on PC performance.

Unless you check/know each deletion made there.
It is not recommended.
Although a backup has been made.
It can happen that a deletion affects a part of the registry related to startup or another less sensitive area. With consequences on the Windows configuration that you might not notice right away..

ntregotp!
It's like defragmenting the registry.

You are telling me to use CCleaner just as a cleaner and not to touch the registry cleaning???
Is that correct?

..

Yep, ..that's what the experts recommend.

Well.., it's still rare with CCleaner, which is rather gentle in its cleaning, that something damaging happens to the system.

But.., if this action has no effect, both on the proper functioning of Windows and on improving its performance?

Good evening everyone, I also have the missing MUI problem (Ccleaner) on Vista and since I've had this issue, my computer tends to bug, especially at startup where I often have to restart 3 times or more, otherwise it gets stuck on a black screen and I'm starting to have issues accessing the internet (the program restarts every 30 seconds).

Thank you to everyone who replies to this message
and even more to those who help me solve my problems

Have a good evening everyone
