Hello,
I think I got a tape stuck in August because it seems that since that date my VCR hasn't been working very well. I put the tape in and it makes a noise, and a 2 appears on the display.
I have to press standby for the tape to come back, and I can no longer record or play
thanks to anyone
who can help me or give me advice.
Thank you very much

Hello,
I also tried the manipulations requested by Philips, but the problem is not resolved; I still have a 2 at the start of the VCR. -

Hello,
I have the same problem. But on top of that, my cassette won't come out anymore. Have you found a solution?- Hello,
my problem is not resolved, the (2) is still displayed and I cannot save or rewind, but I asked;
the customer service at Philips replied to me, for the cassette to PRESS, on the + button of the programs and on the stop button at the same time for a few seconds and this on the front of the VCR and not with the remote control. That's for the jammed cassette and also it’s enough to unplug the VCR for a few seconds, this may help you. Thank you, you do the buttons first maybe, and if that’s not enough you unplug afterwards. That's what PHILIPS replied to me by email,
thank you, and happy DIY!
