Hello,
I'm having a problem with the Philips CD445 cordless phone (answering machine + 2 handsets) that I bought a few days ago.
Can someone tell me if it's normal that after dialing a phone number, I hear lots of "crackling" noises in the earpiece, like sounds from searching the telecom network, if you know what I mean... It's not very "comfortable," I feel like I'm going back to the 50s (and even then).
Thanks in advance

Salut, j'ai un problème avec mon CD445, il m'affiche "recherche" sur les deux combinés, je ne sais plus quoi faire, aidez-moi s'il vous plaît... merci.
Use the handset registration option with the base. Your handset is currently not registered with any base.
Hello,
I have the same problem. During the holidays, I unplugged it (for 15 days), before that it was working normally, and since I’ve plugged it back in, the word "search" is flashing on both handsets (cd4452s/24).
I tried to subscribe again but it says "no base." I wanted to unsubscribe or reset it, but it says "impossible." I removed the batteries, unplugged the base, but nothing works; the word "search" is still on the handsets...
If you have a solution, thank you!

Hello!
1- I memorized the keys from 3 to 9 for direct calls, and that doesn’t work.
2- I have that infamous problem with blinking MSG PHILIPS, and I can't delete it.
3- I reset the phone (page 24), and now I can no longer make calls, neither by dialing a number nor from the directory... a disaster!
SOLUTION??? Thanks!

Hello, I have the same problem as Mamgoz. I also have the CD 445, and when I dial a number, the phone dials all the numbers like on the old phones. It's the phone that behaves this way, but I'm disappointed. Since it dials all the numbers, for example: when I press 8, there will be 8 "crackling" sounds, which causes problems with certain numbers (for example: voicemail press 2) because it takes too long to search and it doesn't work.
Is this really normal or is there a solution?

I don't have that problem but another quite annoying one:
This phone is ultra sensitive and as soon as the weather is bad, continuous rain or thunderstorms, its ringer goes off, waking us up in the middle of the night! However, we also have an old landline (which normally rings at the same time as the Philips during a call) that doesn’t ring unexpectedly during bad weather! I can't find a way to adjust this Philips so that it is less sensitive. Does anyone have the solution???? Thank you in advance.
