Hello,
I have a problem with my Compaq Evo D510 SFF
It gives me this message on startup: 163; time and date not set the system time is invalid; battery power.........
Please help me and thank you
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

    I'm sorry for not replying sooner.
    Set the date and time in the BIOS for booting, press F10 or F8 depending on your computer.
    Then you set the date and time!
    Use up or down to change the date and time.
    Left and right to increase or decrease. (EX: 12; right makes it 13; right makes it 14, I used an example because I can't explain it well)
    And the tab key (the one above the cap lock (the padlock) and below the ¨ key, it looks like two arrows) is for moving to the next field (for example, when I'm trying to explain the time, you press it and it gives you the minutes)

      Bonsoir, j'ai la même erreur mais au moment où je dois changer la date, l'ordinateur plante et émet beaucoup de bips chaque fois que j'appuie sur les touches du clavier... Au passage, j'ai changé trois fois les piles... et j'ai appuyé sur le clear CMOS avant d'insérer les piles... Le problème ne serait-il pas ailleurs...? Merci de me répondre... Patou...
