Following a crash, fatal error, etc...
I am unable to restart Windows.
I reformatted my disk, after the scandisk phase, there is a registry scan (why) since the disk is empty?
Then the installation stops with the message run time error r6003, integer divide by 0.
Is it a virus that has reached the RAM or is it some other hardware failure?
Thank you in advance for any help.

This message is a bit old, but I'm taking the time to add my solution in case others encounter this problem.
As far as I'm concerned, all I had to do was remove the USB port card I had installed for the error message to stop appearing and for the installation to proceed normally. -
Run time error r6003 may be due to a lack of disk space. I'm not giving you the address where I found the info because I received it with a bunch of crap.
Have you done a fdisk before reformatting your disk? Otherwise, you delete the existing partitions and recreate them before formatting.

I repartitioned using fdisk: same battle!
run time error R6003
integer divided by zero.
does anyone have any other ideas than reformatting;
note: in case of a virus attacking the RAM, what would be the solutions?
Thank you in advance.
