unable to print with adobe reader Solved

Question

Hello, when I put a document in a folder, it only opens with Adobe Reader 8.1, and when I try to print it, it's impossible, and on top of that, it's in English. If anyone could tell me what I should do... thank you in advance.

I had a similar problem: "Unable to print the document" + "No page has been selected"
Yet the document was right there, open in front of me with Adobe.
I solved the problem simply by opening the same document with "PDF Xchange Viewer" and had no issue printing. Strange...

You'll need to provide more information if you want us to help you;
What type of file are you trying to open, .doc, .xls, .pdf?
Once the file is open, is the default printer correctly set before you start printing?
Can you specify your error message in English?

For my part, I've uninstalled/reinstalled, nothing works. I open the file, and when I click on print (either by the icon or from the menu), the file closes (it’s a pdf)...

Awesome! I just stumbled upon this thread 8 months later, and the thing is still valid! By disabling protected mode, I'm able to print a document that used to take me to the blue screen before! Isn't Reader X a bit buggy? ;-)

The tip from "Altaroinj" still works and allowed me to resolve the issue I had been struggling with for several days regarding printing a plan.

Just a small correction though, to uncheck "Enable protected mode at startup," you always need to go to:
- Edit -> Preferences
But it's under the Category:
- Protections (enhanced)
Where you can uncheck the option.

Reminder: This helped me eliminate the "Printing impossible" and "No pages detected" messages from Adobe Reader.

Hi,

I've been having this problem for several days. None of the mentioned solutions worked.

I finally solved the issue thanks to a chkdsk that detected and repaired system errors. Everything is good now.

For those who have issues with Adobe Reader, you can drag your file directly onto your web browser (Chrome, Mozilla, etc.) and print from there.

This way, there's no unnecessary download! (just remember to connect the printer ;))

1000 thanks, I was in big trouble, and this thing helped me finally solve the printing block!!!   - Editing -> Preferences - Protections (enhanced) - Uncheck the option   Phew!!
