Diseqc issue with Sagem ISD91 HD

Following a misunderstanding on my part with a forum member, I am creating a new post.
Hello, I am presenting my problem. I currently have a satellite installation with a dish, a dual LNB (Astra/Hotbird) with 2 cable feeds powering each an Aston decoder. Wanting to cancel my satellite subscriptions, I purchased a Sagem ISd91 HD decoder that I am trying in vain to set up.
Although I have a 100% signal reception, during the automatic channel scan, none are found.
I think the problem comes from the fact that this decoder does not have the DiSEqC function.
Could someone provide a solution for this issue?
Best regards.

Hello, indeed the Sagem cannot switch a monobloc LNB because it doesn't have a disecq function. There are two possibilities: either find a reversible monobloc converter and connect it directly with Astra, but we lose the twin LNB, or if you're handy, it's possible to mount the current LNB upside down (that is to say, the LNB at the bottom!) it's just a picture! The downside is that the coaxial cables will come out on top and that this unconventional setup is not very waterproof. But it works.

The problem is that the SAGEMCOM DS81 HD (which does accept the DiscseqC protocol) must absolutely have ASTRA 19 on port A of the DiscseqC,... it's impossible to change the satellite on port A,... however, you can choose the satellite you want on port B, but NOT on port A, unfortunately. Most dual LNBs have Hotbird on port A and Astra on port B, so they're incompatible!! ;(( If you can physically swap your LNBs and manage to put Astra 19 on port A, then you might have a chance of it working, as Yvesantenne13 said.
I don't know why SAGEMCOM made this choice (to prevent the parameterization of port A), it shouldn't be too complicated to allow changing the settings of port A,... but since the firmware is controlled by satellite download, it's hard to imagine that someone could modify the code to make this parameter of port A variable,... ;(

Hello, thanks to yvesantennes13 and Antenniste for their answers.
I have the solution, which is to insert a disecq generator; this forces the selection of the LNB on Astra as soon as the TNTSat decoder is turned on.
So, thank you both.-
Hi, I know this kind of product, but the models I've tried have often been unsatisfactory as they frequently cut out when changing channels, which forces you to turn the device off and on again every time you want to change the channel. It's not great. Does the model you posted provide satisfaction? If so, which brand, please?

I also had the same problem. The online documentation of some TNT receiver resale sites indicates the DiSEqC function, although it is not available on this device.
I even wanted to get confirmation from Sagem, who didn’t even respond to my email (hello customer service!!!)
The best thing for you is to get rid of this junk! (for almost 289 euros without DiSEqC and also locked on Astra) and wait a bit because Aston should soon release, as well as Optex, a TNT HD receiver with the DiSEqC function. I hope it will be with Francesat, which tends to be less restrictive with its decoder than TNTSAT, we'll see...
For my part, I have an Optex Orda 4000 receiver with a motor that I’ve had for almost 6 years, and it’s a great product, clear documentation, easy to adjust, and a really serious company with super competent technicians and salespeople always ready to help you.
Better to wait for HD; prices should drop, especially if Optex and Francesat enter the competition.

Tntsat is not intended to manage inter-satellite switching, as Tntsat terminals (capped) only store channels from Astra 1! So there’s no point in considering reception from Hot-Bird or others with elaborate multi-satellite installations...
There are indeed TNTSAT with antenna switching control (A-B) via Diseqc, but they are passive, unlike FRANSAT terminals equipped with an active Diseqc protocol, meaning that these terminals allow for the storage of other channels on different satellites, using Diseqc 1.0 or 1.1 or even 1.2 protocol.
If you have a monobloc 6° or a dual or triple LNB, think carefully before choosing Tntsat...
