Website visitor counter Solved

Question

Hello,
I have uploaded my website at www.laboulelunelvielloise.com
I have searched in vain for a free counter, without ads or links. So I added a visit counter from a free site. For now, there are no ads, but there is a link to the site in question. Can we disable the Go To in the code to no longer have any link to a supplier site?

It displays the number of visitors either in image format or text format, counts each visitor only once, has no ads or links, and doesn't require any registration!

Hello,
it might disrupt the functioning of the counter, but why are you looking for trouble?? There are counter solutions that you can directly put on your site in (PHP, ASP, or even HTML) without having the permission of a supplier or needing their service. Search online for (free counter script) if you don't find it, just let me know and I'll give you an example that I use myself on my site.

Good evening, I propose a text counter if you're interested, and I think it's cooler and simpler and PRO if you want. I have it on one of my sites anyway, it works in PHP and here are the parts: = to put where you want the number of visitors to display ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "; } ?> It will work perfectly, good luck.

Yes, it is true that my counter is not too distracting: just one click takes you to the counter provider, no popups or other intrusive ads!
There are still the active links in the header menu made from Flash missing, as well as the photo page I want to create using Jalbum, but I need to change all the code to insert the design of my pages into the photo presentation... still a lot of work ahead!

Hello, I use Google Analytics with JALBUM and I'm very satisfied because it's comprehensive, accurate, and clear. To be complete, I use it with JALBUM and IZISPOT which both serve to create my website. And both applications handle the counter very well.  http://savoienature.com.   Here is a tutorial to integrate a Google Analytics counter into a site created with JALBUM. .  1/ Create an account in Google Analytics (easy to find with Google... given the name)  - correctly fill in the site's references during registration.  2/ Principle: Google Analytics creates a script to include in your pages. To find it: in the main Analytics page on the internet, Settings -> Edit -> Data Reception (at the top right) -> edit: you will then arrive at the script, choose: new script. Select the entire script and copy it   3/ Paste the script into the JALBUM program on your hard drive. This way, it will automatically create the script for all pages created later. Note: JALBUM works with skins. It is in the index of the skin that you need to paste the script. (under Windows): C:\program files\Jalbumwin\skins\skinexemple\.... right-click on "index" and open with Notepad.  4/ Paste the script in the Head, immediately before the body and save.  5/ Generate your photo album with JALBUM and upload it online. Each page will now be "tracked" by Google Analytics.  6/ Check if everything works: On the internet, go to Google Analytics -> your account. Check if the "data reception" section is ticked in green. If yes, after a day or two, you will be able to access the report on the same page. No, no, you won’t have anything on the same day!  ** If you have multiple sites, the process is identical. The Analytics homepage will list all your sites in your account. ** If you have other applications to create your site (Dreamweaver, Izispot, Nvu, etc.), you just need to paste your Analytics script in the "Head" section, just before [Body]  Good luck.

Questions to help you :) Is the server you are working on a server that supports PHP? Have you set the CHMOD rights for the coun_data file to read and write?

Ok, I finally managed to get it running. I needed the ".php" extension for it to work..

Actually, I still have 3 questions:

1) In a php file, can I put as much html code as I want? (sorry, I don't know anything about php).

2) Can we modify the font, etc. of the display output by <?php echo $count; ?>

3) If I look at the code of your page http://www.maroctech.ma/, I don't see any trace of php. How is that possible?

Hello,
For the first question, yes we can include HTML code within PHP code and vice versa, but the most important thing is that in both cases, the file must have the .PHP or .PHP3 extension.
For the second answer, yes we can modify the font and everything, and for more information, I suggest you check out these two links:

As for the third answer, it is perfectly normal that you do not see the PHP code in the source of my pages; PHP is a language that executes on the server side, so what you see as source is only the result of my code and not the code itself. A quick search on Google will suffice to answer all your questions on this subject.
