Hello,
For a little over 24 hours, I can no longer watch streaming videos.
Indeed, whenever I try to go to streaming sites like filmstreaming.info, and I click on a link that leads to a page referencing a movie, my browser (both Firefox and IE) crashes and gives me an error message.
However, if the referenced link is a Daily Motion link, the browser doesn't crash (apparently).
For example, if I click on the link for Cloverfield it crashes, but if I click on the link for Clerks (link to Daily Motion) it doesn't crash.
In recent days I haven't installed any new software, so I don't understand why, after restarting my PC yesterday morning, it no longer worked.
Today I reinstalled Firefox 2.0.0.11 but it didn't change anything.
I ran Spybot, but that didn't change anything either.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this???
Please ;)

Hi everyone,
I believe I have found a solution after hours of fruitless searches on different forums.
The crashes during streaming on Firefox with Vista are, in my opinion, caused by the latest version of Adobe Flash Player, which crashes with Firefox + Vista.
Firefox crashes, download freezes, etc... I resolved the issue by downloading the beta version of Adobe Flash Player 10 while waiting for the final version. You can find it at this address: https://www.generation-nt.com/adobe-flash-player-10-astro-actualite-91851.html
Good luck ;)

Hi,
I was looking for free software to download streaming audio ... when I came across your message.
I don't know if you found the solution since then, but try:
* Download Ccleaner (free), then clean the registry (accept backups when prompted)
Do it as many times in a row as there are errors displayed.
* Uninstall FireFox version 2.
* Download FIREFOX 3
* Ccleaner: repeat .. registry cleaning in several passes
* Restart your computer
* Re-run Ccleaner
* Try watching your streaming videos.
* If it fails, update your antivirus and do a full scan of your computer (or do it online at Kaspersky.fr or .com, for example).
* Otherwise, you can also update the drivers for your audio + video cards.
There you go.

Hi everyone!
Same issue!
The stream on Deezer won't start, and on YouTube just for 2 seconds...
And it's been like this for 24 hours as well. No issues on IE, so it’s definitely Firefox.

Hi everyone,
Yes, streaming via Firefox is a real chainsaw massacre!
I'm trying to figure out the cause, but without much success.
With IE, the Windows OS browser, it works without a hitch.
Conclusion:
IE doesn't use embedding (Embed), but the parameters of the object to be read.
Firefox uses embedding, but it can't handle too many streams on the page.
I can't tell you more for now, and I'm quite embarrassed on my side, trying to create my music pages now that P2P is dead.
Basically, the fewer streams the page contains under Firefox, the better it works.

Well, actually, I installed version 3.03 and it's working fine again :)
Maybe it's version 3.02 that has a bug!
Bye!

Hi,
I have version 3.03 of Firefox, and I'm still having the same problem.
I managed to stabilize the issue by limiting the number of streams on one page and downloading the player to one of my storage sites.

You can download the HTML page to get an idea of the music streaming... STABLE!
But there is still a monopoly war on InterPoub, and in all areas, in fact.

Hi,
I had contacted Mozilla's bug support, who directed me to a site... dead end!
Thank you for your reply. I will test the new version tomorrow and keep you updated.
I'm not on Vista, but XP SP1, and the issue is the same.
Thank you for your help.

just in case...
try to see if the problem might be with your Flash Player
for me, since Friday, whenever I started streaming, Firefox crashed and closed with an error message
same with IE
I tried changing browsers, changing versions, etc...
but to no avail...
and everything came back to normal without crashing as soon as I reinstalled the latest version Flash 10.0.45.2
but not the beta (which was causing crashes)
so uninstall the old version
run CCleaner
reinstall the correct latest version 10.0.45.2
here's a good tutorial

Since I installed version 10 of AFP, the controls are stable under Firefox 3. Thanks again.
I found some relatively interesting things at this address http://www.dewplayer.fr, in the professional section.
To find me, search for ErySoft on Google or elsewhere.
