TNT in Dunkirk

Hello, I live in Dunkirk and I was wondering why with my TNT decoder, I receive NOTHING?

    I am very disappointed by your last message, because that is false!!!!!! There is TNT on DK cable via a decoder purchased for 72 euros from the cable provider. My last message didn't help you, unfortunately. See you soon, I hope.

      Having the TNT channels on cable does not mean that reception in TNT mode is guaranteed... Totally different.

      I thought that the terminals on loan for cable were obtained with a deposit, but here you're talking about purchase?

      Excuse me, but there is still no complete DTT in Dunkirk!
      And I don't want to spend €72 on a decoder... I ended up buying an audio/video transmitter because I have the Freebox on the ground floor.

      it's not normal to have to equip yourself at Numericable with as many modulators/decoders as there are TVs and devices in each house!!!
      why not send signals directly compatible with the built-in tuners in TVs, DVD recorders or hard drives, and all devices that could be autonomous!!!

    Dear RIRI

    I have been a technician for 33 years and have been in constant contact with the DK cable.

    There are 2 options:

    1: You have a normal cathode television (without built-in TNT reception)
    2: You have a flat screen with (built-in TNT)

    For the first option, you own a TNT decoder that you bought in a store, it will not work because it is not hyperband and therefore does not receive the frequencies from the DK cable.

    For your flat screen, the problem is the same because the television does not receive the hyperband either, except in very rare cases!!!

    In both these cases, your respective decoders can only receive TNT from an external antenna and even then, very few channels can be received on DK!!!

    For someone like you connected to the DK cable, the only solution is to buy a decoder for 72 euros from the cable tour de reuze (this without a subscription).

I have a CRT television and I'm looking for an economical way to receive TNT, preferably with a terrestrial antenna. From what I've gathered, I should aim my antenna towards Mont des Cats???? but I don't know the direction of it in relation to north or south??? Could you please help me?       Hello Martien. I see from your posts that you are a professional, so I would like to get your opinion. I will be arriving very soon in Calais and can I receive TNT with an indoor antenna or should I install or have an outdoor antenna installed with a television that is 5 years old and having bought a decoder. I also read that I could receive Belgian channels. I suppose I need to have a special antenna installed... Could you enlighten me in this regard? Thank you in advance.

      I don’t know anything about this at all, and I’d like to get the best value for money for receiving channels
      and possibly being able to combine TV and internet

      Hello, I just bought an apartment in Bray-Dunes with a small amplified outdoor antenna purchased at the beginning of DTT, it works for both analog and digital... it has never been connected to a DTT adapter so I'm not sure if we are receiving the signal from the Dunkirk transmitter correctly. I don't understand much about DTT, should I buy a hyper-band DVB-T adapter??? What should I do to get DTT without too much hassle!!!

    In Dunkirk, we should be able to receive terrestrial television (TNT) soon! Some say one date while others say another; once we have what we need to receive TNT, we just have to wait for the signal.
