Hello everyone, I've been searching for several days, so I'm posting this message to ask for your help please. On utorrent, for the past few days, the triangle with the ellipsis has been orange and I can't reopen a port "Error! Port 52901 does not appear to be open." I've tried unsuccessfully what port to enter in the utorrent connection preferences.
In the livebox manager, which port to enter from port to port and what local IP address in the LAN server as well as the public port, and in the Windows firewall settings should we also enter the ports, thanks everyone and see you soon. Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

To open the ports, it's easy: go to http://192.168.1.1, then go to advanced settings NAT/PAT
add a line, then when you go to uTorrent, it should show you a UDP and TCP port number, so these ports
you can enter in add a line; imagine the codes are 3456 in UDP, you enter 3456 in UDP everywhere
and the same for TCP. After that, you go back to DHCP, then go back to NAT/PAT, you select and choose
the uTorrent program, and that's it. See you! -

Regarding me, your tutorial is of no use to me, I have the new Livebox and it is completely different, I don't understand anything at all.
It's a Sagem Livebox but this one is for Vista.
If you have a tutorial for me, thank you for letting me know, that would be nice.
I'm on ADSL 8 Mega, with uTorrent I'm getting 300 to 400 but that's rare.
Despite this, I have a red circle at the bottom which is not normal.
I think I heard about a yellow rectangle and a green circle, mine is red.

Hi !!!! I've got a solution for the Livebox, but there are several things to do
you need to configure your firewall and your router, so open the ports in the router section and grant permission
in the firewall section... here’s a link that explains how to open the ports (router section)
but it’s for an Inventel Livebox; if you have a Sagem, I think it should be pretty much the same... http://www.bichofeo.com/5.htm
give a 5-digit port number (I tried with 4 and it didn't work!!!)
then do the same thing in the router section... good luck
for info, after the manipulation I went up to 300 kb/s (I have 8M with Orange...) -
Salut, I can't open a port for uTorrent with my Thomson Livebox Mini, I'm using Vista, thanks for your help.

There's nothing to worry about, I was saying the solution because when you call them they don't know, and you end up with incompetent ones.
But it's okay, I like helping. -
Hello everyone. I have the same problem with uTorrent, except that I have a D-Link DSL-2640U router and I can't configure it to open the uTorrent port where I've entered port 6889. Moreover, my port opening icon on uTorrent is green but I'm barely downloading at 12kb/s. Please help me.

Hi, well I had major issues with my last mini Livebox: so if your light is green, then it works. I had to reset my Livebox, I know, crazy stuff, but it works now. Good luck!
