I have tested quite a few RPGs and MMORPGs, and I must say that WOW remains one of the best for me.

Positive point of WOW: beautiful, easy to pick up, fun from the start, and massively playable.

Negative point of WOW: you can become a no-lifer in a few hours of gameplay, sometimes doing farming for hours can be a bit tedious and tends to make you want to grab a beer instead of playing -> but the positive point is that then you rock, and you just can't stop playing (which counts as a negative point - ^^)

Positive point of GW: beautiful, graphics in my opinion more realistic than WOW, you’re amazed every minute. Guild battles are very interesting, wanting to be the best all the time can make you glued to your computer (^^)

Negative point of GW: not much fun at the start, a bit boring even, and you need a few hundred hours before you get “respected” or at least, you can enjoy yourself without too much hassle!

This is a GENERAL comment, written very quickly, but these are the comments that came to me directly without thinking! So the real ones!

    There you go, ++

World of Warcraft: Well, a bit of RPG, beautiful graphics, easy to manage... Overall 9/10

    Dark Age of Camelot:

Also good, nice graphics, free expansions, not many low-level players... 7/10

    The Fourth Prophecy:

Not bad, 2D graphics, free, often PvP or FreePK 8/10

Guild Wars: Boring but has good graphics... 6.5/10

Honestly, I would classify World of Warcraft as number 1.

Indeed, beyond the aspect of "A paid game?! You're getting scammed, guys!"
Or "Wow? A game for no-lifers"
there is the community aspect that too many people forget or don't know about.
More than just a game, WoW has become a hobby in itself.
It's not enough to play WoW to know its entire universe.
Many artists (and even actors, yes!) play this game for its richness in landscapes, story, etc.

After all that, it's sure and certain that WoW is addictive, but after all, it's like alcohol: to be consumed in moderation :)

I also want to say that many people play and are not hooked on the game, like me for example; the Warcraft universe is a passion but doesn’t take all my time.

I would give this game a solid 9/10.

    Graphics: 8/10.
The WoW ambiance is surely one of its biggest strengths, with not-too-bad graphics, considering the game is already a few years old ;)

    Gameplay: 9/10
Really rich and varied; you don't play the same way with different classes at all!

    Story: 10/10
Worthy of the greatest writers, it’s undoubtedly a game that offers one of the richest and most interesting stories. You literally dive into the universe :)

    Longevity: 9/10
Here’s a point where Blizzard has done well, being a pioneer of the genre back in the day; they have continued to evolve the game with updates, always offering more story, quests, instances, raids, new features, and space!

In second place, I would position Dragonica

With its "Kawai" manga atmosphere, this MMORPG is a real treat for blowing off steam and playing socially =P

Its manga aspect gives it a lot of charm, and the very nice "heroic-fantasy" universe it mixes gives a good result ;)

With a very rich gameplay mode, offering enjoyable class combinations, and the possibility of having plenty of equipment slots, a different way of playing for each class combination, the game provides good moments online =P

Instances galore as well; that's what awaits you.
Not to mention the PvP mode, which in my opinion is not yet refined enough to have been put online, as a significant gap between classes hinders balancing in battles.

Finally, after a few days of playing, boredom sets in already, with this somewhat tedious aspect.
Because, killing 300 monsters to get a chest, you have to hand it to them ;)

I would say this game is aimed at a certain type of audience over time.

Honestly, there are better comparisons than Dofus, WoW, or all those MMOs with others like Dragon Nest or Continent of Night. You'll see the difference. Tastes and colors are not up for debate; some will like this, others that (Grand Chase is not bad either).

Dragon Nest is only available in English as well?

My opinion is that Last Chaos is one of the best MMO RPG games
For gameplay, I would give it a score of 9/10
For graphics quality, very good, so 9/10
For those who like games not too far from the imagination of orcs ^^... Last Chaos, with its characters resembling reality, I would give it an 8/10

The game can be downloaded in French and in many other languages... (French network shared with the Belgian one)
France ranks in 3rd position after the US version and the German version, it seems, for game advancement (the patches)

My only problem is that the game is very long before you can progress in levels without becoming cardboard... because the game requires PC (Point of Capacity) which is used to learn passive abilities (permanent defense increase, permanent attack increase, etc.) and active abilities (special attack (skill), increase of abilities for a specific moment (buff)) and to not be cardboard you need to have around 40,000 PC to be fully capable at level 140
And to get all these PC as quickly as possible, it is recommended to do them at Procyon at level 17 or 18 on ghouls (level 17) and on mummies (level 19)
After that, gaining PC will become a real hassle because the monsters will take longer to kill and they will give 5 times less PC than Procyon
    1 PC = 10,000 SP
At Procyon, the mobs at levels 17 and 18 give about 5,000 SP while leaving Procyon at the beginning, but they will only give 700 or 800 SP for about 15 attacks

    hello,

    testing:

    - wow: which quickly becomes an addiction (the only one I still play)
    positive points:
    - multitude of classes, diversification, professions, gameplay, functions in the game, add ons, ...
    - "IRL" meetings to drink beer while playing ^^
    negative points:
    - for the first installment, the colors looked like a melted "Dragibus" packet ...
    - addiction, paid, long updates, Chinese farmers spamming, ...

    - metin2
    - very aesthetic, but I wasn't too hooked on it.
    - I still have a very positive opinion

    - Guildwar
    - I hate being limited to 4 poor spells, it "pisses me off"
    - map blocked during quests (you meet no one)

    - Ikariam
    - nice as a browser game

    - Ogame
    - not a browser game but becomes tedious over time

    - Travian
    - if you're poorly located, the game is lost from the start

    - Sacred 2
    - desert server or else I only found Germans (I don't speak German so ...)
    - really splendid otherwise it remains an exceptional game in the line of the first installment and remains a false brother of Baldur's Gate.

Wow is a very good game except for the fact that you have to pay every month (but it's worth it ^^) and you can try the game for free for 10 days, I think.

Guild War is less beautiful than its competitors but completely free (except for the CD of course :p)

Hello, the website www.mondespersistants.com is really well made, with a lot of MMORPG tests. It all depends on the style you’re looking for (adventure/futuristic/medieval...). For my part, I played Everquest, Dark Age Of Camelot, and World Of Warcraft. In the end, it’s a matter of taste ;)

Alright, thank you, but WOW is not for me; I will never pay for a subscription for a game.

I believe that the old game Baldur's Gate is the best RPG game that exists right now...

You can play WOW on a private server like I do. I recommend Warthworld, a nice free server.

For me, the best is DAOC, a game where you can have a bit of everything: GvG, RP, PvP, PvE, FreePk.
The official servers are well populated and there is something for everyone (paid for the official one).
On the other hand, the free private servers provide as much accessibility as the official ones but with fewer players, which is the only downside. At the moment, there is only one French-only server running.

The graphics are very well done (the game is from 2004).
The gameplay is more than easy, similar to WoW; you have shortcuts for different skills.
The best part is really that you'll never do the same thing. From the start, you have the choice of more than twenty different races across three kingdoms, then you choose a class among the twenty different ones in each kingdom.
As you start leveling up, for almost every level, you gain a new skill, so you never really do the same thing.
Reaching the maximum level makes it very easy to become a very good player among others, and you probably won't be able to have the same specialization in skills as your teammate who has the same class.

Personally, I prefer Shaiya. It's a free game unless you want to buy items separately via SMS. Graphics 18, story 15, sound 20, and the ease of joining a guild is great (I joined a guild ranked 24th at level 12). The quests are interesting and they give XP quickly. At level 40, you can get mounts by paying 9,000,000, which isn't a lot because at level 12 I had 140,000. The game bugs very little as it is frequented by about 3,000 people, which is low considering Dofus has hundreds of thousands of players. I give it a good 18 and give it a try, it's really great (powerful computer recommended, as recent as 2009 and 1 gig of memory). The game has to be the only one running on the computer, otherwise it can take three hours to download or even five, depending.

wow is very good, gigantic map, impressive variety of stuff, variety of class and race as well
Only downside: having to pay every month

Then GW: yuck max level 20 but it's great (y)

Rappelz: good game but a bit limited, the scenery is relatively empty

Archlord: very good games, good graphics. The problem? you have to grind, and yes the quests are terrible.

I want to remind you that you didn't even mention RuneScape. It's free, no download required (well, there is one, but it takes 2 seconds), and I checked, it's the 9th best in MMORPGs. I looked at the ranking, and it supports French, English, Spanish, and Dutch. It has beautiful graphics too. Good for the addicts.

Last Chaos is free, with 4 different maps, many events, you can have 2 companions or 1 attack companion, many different servers, guild battles. I think it's the best!!
