I have the same problem, but I can't find a solution in the latest link. Mine hasn't received any shock. Does anyone have a solution since then? I still have the warranty, but I'm in Brazil, so it's a bit complicated! Thank you for your help.

Hello,

I had the same problem as you; suddenly, when I turn it on, it shows "target error" or "try to reset it."

What should I do?

Thank you in advance.

HELLO

I'm sorry I can't answer your question, but I have a problem: I don't have the manual for the
CASIO EXILIM EX-Z75 in French. If possible, please send it to me.
THANK YOU ALL.

Hello,

It probably stayed closed because I had likely turned on the device in its pouch, so the lens wouldn't come out, and I have to say that I fiddled with it a little delicately with a small knife to unlock it.

If the lens remains open, just fully recharge the battery, and when you put it back in, try it 2 to 3 times and it will close.

Good luck

Hello,
I have exactly the same problem as Chachou, on a Exilim EX-Z70
"lens error" and "try to turn it back on".
Has anyone managed to fix it?
Thanks!

I followed another stupid online review (believing the person) that said to press on the lens and force it to retract, claiming it would solve everything... This time I can no longer use the device at all, and I can't do anything with it: it's systematically "lens error"! I bought the battery for nothing, 8 euros wasted because of fake online reviews, and now my device is ruined this time!!!

Same here, it started by not focusing anymore. I even took it apart but it didn't change anything... Now it "gets stuck" and shows the same message as you then turns off...
Unsovable mechanical problem?

The same for me. No more adjustments, "objective error" and "trying to restore service." A solution, anyone????

You are a liar!
The battery for my camera ordered this Tuesday afternoon on PRICE has already arrived this Wednesday in the mail, despite the hi-fi store having shipped it by "écopli," which is supposed to be slow! Another fake internet review since it didn't solve anything at all! The lens is still stuck with the same error messages! And the Neuville store indicated has not responded to my email since Monday; I will call them tomorrow...

Hello,
Casio partly answers the question.
See: https://www.casio-europe.com/fr/assistance/faq/

Then it's up to you.
Repair or disassembly.
Mine is still under warranty.

I have the same issue, the lens doesn't close completely anymore and it shows "lens error". I can't view my photos directly on the device, nor even on the TV; it just turns off...
