Hello dear ccmistes.

I am reaching out to you because I have an issue that prevents me from working on my machine, the issue being a bug of unknown origin that is causing SQL Server to crash. However, I am currently working with SQL Server databases.

When I try to access my local database, it returns the following error:

//

Unable to establish a connection to (Local)

Reason: Unable to generate SSPI context

//

I have checked that my service manager is running. So the problem does not come from there. My ODBC data sources do not seem to have been modified either, so the problem is not there once again. However, I wonder if this could be related: my machine, although connected to the internet via the network, can no longer access other machines on this network, just as the others can no longer access it.

Thank you in advance to anyone who can help me.

Best regards,

Hello,

it seems to be a network issue, apparently. The SSPI context is performing authentication on the domain server. Since you can no longer see the network and the network no longer sees you, the easiest solution would be to unjoin your machine from the domain and then rejoin it.

A thousand thanks
I had the same problem with my client on Seven + sage100 gescom with a server on 2008R8
the fact of taking the client machine out of the domain and reintegrating it makes the thing work
bye bye those three error messages :D

1-SQL network interfaces: the system has detected a potential security breach

2- unable to generate the SSPI context

3 -SQL Error
