[DS: Sims 2 Shipwreck] chef,.... HELP Solved

Question

Hello,  I recently got the Sims Castaways on DS, but I'm stuck at 20% of the game... I need to give the peppers to the cook but I have no way to do it! I have them with me, "give items" is also possible but as soon as I offer him the items, my character talks about bananas and fish (???) and the cook gets angry.... So there's nothing to do and I can't progress in the game!  Oh yes, I would like to know how to catch the green fish (which is caught in the sea, with a harpoon, during the day) that we need to exchange with the doctor, along with the scarabs I already have, to get the stick? Hi Emy  For the cook, I had the same problem, I solved it by giving him several times eggs as a gift and when he came back okay (green bar), I stopped giving him his chilies.
