Hello,
the function of the digico: camcorder, digital camera, dictaphone, MP3 player, motion detector, and webcam.
I received it with software to encode movies from MP3 format to MP4 format, USB 2 cable, dock, charger, remote control, and headphones.
I am satisfied with my purchase; the charger’s battery life is remarkable, however regarding the 16 MP, I think we are far from it, rather 8 MP. In the end, I am happy because for the price of £123 on eBay, I think the quality-price ratio is not bad.

I'm a bit disappointed with the zoom too, because from 1.0 to 4.0 it's the optical zoom that isn't great, then from 4.0 to 8.0 it's the digital zoom that takes over, and you can really see the difference.
As for the battery, when I received it, I let the battery completely drain and I left it to charge for 2 hours, which was enough because it's been 2 weeks since I plugged it in, all depending on the usage? But I believe the charging bar is a bit fictitious. On the other hand, I haven't tested it as a webcam since I already have one and I had already set mine up.

I just acquired a Digico HD 18, and overall, it's very satisfying—videos are OK, photos are OK, but!!
How is it possible that there is a trial period for the webcam function, or have I not "gotten it" at all, or am I "CLUELESS"????????????
I don't understand!!!!!!!!!!!! If anyone can enlighten me, I will be grateful!!

Yes, it is compatible with VISTA, I use it.
Have you not noticed the striking resemblance to the TOSHIBA CAMILEO? Is it a cheap DIGICO copy?
What do you think of the device? I can only play some MP3s (about 1/4), do you have a solution?

Yes, thank you, I received the Digico HD 18! ...oh yes, it's almost an exact copy!! It's a Digico copy that's why we pay less... I think it's a good device, I need to look more closely at the software to upload my music.. I have a comment to make when I take photos they look nice but when I put them on the computer they become distorted (we have big heads) lol so I don’t know if I need to change a format but since I need to look more closely at all that... because I haven't had the time, that's it, if there are any updates let me know...

So for "Yohan_san," no, I don't know where to find the HD 18 outside of the internet, but I do know that there's exactly the same one at Fnac, but the brand is Toshiba^^
And for "Swirl," with the HD 18, I believe it's not possible to listen to music through external speakers, but the integrated ones give quite a loud sound. And about the night mode, I don't know what you're talking about, but the flash is very good.
But I find that there are better photo devices... the photos for me on the computer get large and it's not pretty; I don’t know if it's my computer because I have Vista or if I poorly adjusted the device...
