Manipulation carried out on a Nokia N95 8GB, I don't know if the same manipulation applies to a regular N95.
Hello
to change it to French, you need to follow
what I will tell you: (first install PC Suite)
1-plug the phone into the mains
2-plug it into the computer and wait for the drivers to install
3-restart the computer
4-reconnect the mobile (it will ask you for the connection mode, choose PC SUITE mode!)
5-download the software Nemissis Service Suite (NSS) here:
http://www.web-mobile.net/PRG/NSS103812.exe
6-To perform the update, download NSU (Nokia
Software Updater) here:
http://nds1.nokia.com/files/support/global/phones/software/N
okiaSoftwareUpdaterSetup_en.exe
7-install both software and restart the computer
8-Open NSS and click on the magnifying glass at the top right
9- Click on the "phone info" icon
10- Click on "read"
11- Note the information present in the different areas including
"Product Code". You will need this if you want to reflash your
phone to its original value another time
12-replace the existing product code value with this one 0549487
13-Check the "enable" box next to the product code
14- Click on "Write", it will take 1 second (display "done"
at the bottom of the NSS window)
15- Rescan to read the value and confirm the recording.
16- Close NSS
17-launch NSU (Nokia software updater)
18-proceed with the update with NSU by following the steps of the
process.
19-restart the phone and choose France, then go
to the language menu and change it to French.
THAT'S IT, I did it yesterday and my phone works perfectly.

For French, it's simple. I had a Nokia E71 bought in Turkey, so it only had Turkish.
I went to the official Nokia website and I updated the phone, and then it asked me which language I wanted. I selected French, and miraculously my phone became entirely in French, just as if I had bought it in France.
Otherwise, for the opposite, switching from French to Turkish, I think it's also possible. Just go and update the phone on the Nokia website.
Good luck!

Bonjour, je ne fournis que des traductions. Voici la traduction de votre demande :
"Hello, I would like to install the Turkish language on my Nokia 95 2GB. How can I do that? Please help me, thank you very much."

Hello, I just updated my N95 8GB to version 20.0.016 and my fright was when I saw my phone completely in English. So I followed your advice, but NSS shows an error in the phone info at the bottom left when I try to read. I don't know what to do, so if you could help me, that would be really nice. Thank you in advance!
Hi,
I have the same issue, I upgraded to the latest version and now I'm stuck in English. If you have the information to switch back to French, I would be grateful. The procedure doesn't work for me either, I get an error saying it can't find the product information.
Thank you for your help.

I would really appreciate your help, please.

My problem with the Nokia N95 not 8GB is simple: the update stops when there are about 13 minutes left, and it tells me not to use a USB hub, even though I don’t have one. The last time I updated to version 21, it worked fine, but now trying to update to version 30 it cuts off every time. I called Nokia, and they checked my phone number and saw that there had been a modification to my phone (I had already changed the product code to FRANCE during my previous update to get version 21), and Nokia told me that I am no longer under warranty and they can't do anything for me. Does this mean I can no longer update? I’ve tried on several PCs and still get the cut-off with a message about the USB speed not being fast enough and to avoid using a USB hub, even though I don’t have one. I don't understand anything anymore!!!
Thank you for helping me.
Best regards,
Patrice
