If you have Leopard, just insert the installation DVD; all the drivers are inside.
Otherwise, for Tiger, you need to burn a CD using the Bootcamp assistant.

As mentioned earlier, I also tried from Windows.

Under Windows:

- The Leopard DVD (my burned image, not the original) is ejected after a few "turns" without anything launching (autorun) or the possibility of browsing the content.

- The Tiger DVD appears as empty; when trying to browse, Windows indicates: "Windows cannot read from this disk. The disk may be damaged or it may use a format that is not compatible with Windows."

That’s the situation.

I don’t understand; according to you, FreeM, the Leopard DVD opens correctly under Windows and offers an executable to update the drivers. Maybe my Leopard image/burning is faulty (I installed with this DVD and it opens correctly under OSX).

Can someone tell me if the installation disk 1 of Tiger offers visible content under Windows? (because nothing appears on my end either).

For my part, I installed Windows XP with Bootcamp. I can't access the damn diskimage.dmg file!! It's blocking me too much!

I recommend Driver Max, it's practical and greatly improves performance. I, who am on Vista, since I updated everything, it's perfect as can be ;)

For a week now, I've been completely struggling with my MacBook Pro (Intel 1.85 gigahertz Intel Core Duo)
I installed Windows XP SP2 on it, and since then I haven't had sound or the webcam, I've looked everywhere for the drivers for my sound card and webcam but to no avail
Additionally, I don't have the Mac CD to recover the sound driver, if someone could send me these drivers, I would be grateful please.

Listen to me, I have a little problem. I installed Windows XP with Bootcamp, and I'm having issues with two or three drivers (iSight, sound, and another one I can't remember). When I put in my Leopard (original) to finalize the drivers, nothing happens; the disk is not readable because it's not recognized by Windows. The other drivers were installed through Windows!
So I followed the topic above, I looked in the Bootcamp resources folder and there's no diskimage.dmg!
There's also no driver file for XP on the Leopard DVD!

I'm starting to despair of getting it to work normally!

For everyone who is unable to read their Leopard/Tiger CD/DVD on Windows, there are software options to read Mac CDs on Win XP & Vista, such as MacDisc.

While waiting for the latest bootcamp for Windows 7, you just need to manually install the drivers present on the installation CD-ROM of Mac OS X 10.5.6. I said manually!! Do not use the automatic setup, it will not work. Install the drivers one by one. In the meantime, you will have some functional drivers like the keyboard, the mouse (right click), the graphics card, Bluetooth, ethernet, etc. However, other options will not work (bootcamp mode, keyboard options (+ - volume, + - brightness, etc.), the Fn key, etc.)

But it's already something... if you find other solutions, let me know! ;)

The only unique solution to have sound on any MacBook, MacBook Pro
valid for
-XP
-Vista
-Windows 7

Solution: you need to update the correct driver for your built-in speakers which are made by Cirrus Logic.
Go to Control Panel / Sound
there you will see the list of installed sound devices
Right-click on the speakers (which will be indicated as ok but this is a mistake because the wrong driver is installed)
Click on update the driver and choose to select the driver to install yourself.
Select the driver from the link below.
And that's it....

This driver is valid for all versions of Win XP, Vista, Seven 32 and 64 bit
for all MacBook and MacBook Pro

P.S.: This driver can be found on any Mac OS X, Leopard, Snow CD, in the /bootcamp/drivers/cirrus section.

Note that when installing Windows on a Mac, you need to manually install the Nvidia and Broadcom drivers.
The Bootcamp setup exe does not install them, but they are on the Mac OS X CD.
