MacBook Pro Drivers

First of all, I would like to point out that my configuration is a MacBook V1 and not a MacBook Pro.

I read this thread with interest and cannot find a solution to my problem :(

The link provided by RaedKira is great but concerns XP and not Vista.

You mentioned that the drivers for Vista can be found on the Leopard DVD...
I am currently on vacation and do not have my original DVD, only a disk image of it.

- I tried to mount the image from Parallels Desktop but nothing happens.
- I burned my image to a DVD, inserted it in Vista environment => nothing happens.
- When inserting the DVD under OSX, I can see the content but I cannot find anything related to the drivers for Windows (just the files necessary for the installation of Leopard.

Do you have any additional guidance to help me extract these drivers?

I was able to solve my issue of finding Macbook drivers for Vista by bypassing my unreadable Leopard DVD story under Windows.

Here's how to proceed:

- From Leopard, go to Applications / Utilities
- Control + click on Boot Camp Assistant / Show Package Contents
- Go to Contents / Resources
- *Mount Diskimage.dmg
- Copy the content to a USB stick or a CD
- Reboot under Windows and run Setup.exe

Enjoy! The drivers will install.

*Note, on the 2nd Macbook in front of me, Diskimage.dmg is not present in the folder. Apparently, it is only available on a Mac where the Bootcamp Assistant has been executed.

Have you ever installed Windows using bootcamp on the machine where you can't find the image file 'disimage.dmg'?

If you haven't installed Windows using bootcamp yet, it's normal that you don't see it.

I have exactly the same problem as you, namely config/ macbookpro + xp sp2 + leopard and I don't have the leopard CD. Did you find a solution?

Hello, I have exactly the same problem as you. I install XP and insert my driver DVD that I received with my MacBook Pro, but the CD is not being read and I can't go online or anything :s if someone knows how to help me.

There is a very simple solution: you buy a Wi-Fi dongle, like the D-Link DWA-142, you install it on the XP partition, and boom, you're connected to the net. After that, it's just a classic driver installation with the program of your choice or manually... I just did it with an XP on a MacBook Pro in 2 minutes, all wrapped up. Kisses to the cat... stylish!
