I tried changing the slot, but nothing works, I can see the drive, but it's empty.
When I go into properties, it shows that it's filled to 2/3.
When I opened it, the activated slot was the one all the way to the left (flat hard drive, the open side of the keops facing up).
I put important stuff on the drive, I want to be able to recover it before I smash this %$@! keops grhh.

Good evening, that's exactly it. But I strongly advise against a Neo Keops, whatever the model.
It's better to turn to the brand STOREX, no issues with customer service, really a serious brand.

Hello,
It worked for me at first too, but then for no apparent reason Vista no longer recognized it.
I tried it on the television; it works, but while fiddling around I clicked on switch to digital mode and got a black screen.
I bought an HDMI cable to switch back to analog.
On the PC it recognizes it again, but still without knowing why.
Anyway, I'm joining you in the disappointment.

Hello, I have a Keops v551 that works fine on my PC and my TV. I tried to connect it via USB to my home theater, but it is not recognized. After consulting the technical manual, I formatted it to FAT32, which is recognized by the home theater, but nothing works. Has anyone experienced this kind of problem?
Thank you in advance.
Thank you in advance.
The kheops v551 250go that I own was given to me :/ The packaging box does not contain the correct power cord.
Does anyone have specific references for standard cables that I could buy in stores? This way I can see if this thing works
Thank you for your responses.

Yeah, it’s good for photos, divx, but NEO KEOPS seems to be a bit of crap... I have one.
IN ANY CASE, do not install the driver provided on the mini CD!!!! LET Windows discover a USB disk and that’s it.

Another victim.
I bought a first multimedia HDD of 500GB from the brand Storex. At first, it worked well except that the connection time (display in the file explorer) was long. Then the next day, nothing!
I took the said Storex HDD back and exchanged it for a NeoGeo. I took the opportunity to mention to the seller: "I think you must have issues with your hard drives. I bought this one yesterday. There were about ten on the shelf and today you have none left." No response from the seller > I find it hard to believe they sold them all in one day.
And surprise when testing the new NeoGeo. It's the same crap.
The blue light flashes on the HDD casing but nothing appears in my PC's file explorer.
Honestly, it's unacceptable to sell faulty equipment with complete impunity. They really take us for fools. At nearly €200 for the thing, it's TOTAL NONSENSE!
Long live France!

Big trouble with Cdiscount for my Samsung phone delivered without a battery.
After 10 days of waiting and calling, no solution.

Good evening, I just read your question. Indeed, it is a hard drive that you connect to the TV.
It's convenient and it works, except that for this product, I just bought it and when I connect it, nothing happens, so no comment. (to be continued)

Well, well, what a lot of disappointed and angry consumers against Neo's Keops!
I've been searching the web for 20 minutes for information about this product (my father is buying one and is having issues with it...) and to be honest, very few seem to be happy with their purchase!! Maybe 2 or 3, including the one who got a refund!!!
I went on Neo's website and there... well, nothing more, other than the user manual and the technical sheet, even their firmware (the program managing the HDDM) has only one version!!!!
Anyway, back to the main problem; with my disk, no issues with Windows, nor with movies, no the problem is mainly with the mp3s! Yes, the "only" issue is that no mp3s are showing up on the screen. Annoying for a MULTImedia hard drive!!!!!
So I'm trying several little tweaks (formatting in FAT32, changing the bitrate of the mp3s, testing with wma and other formats...) and then I will let you know how it goes.
I wish myself good luck for my father, all those who, like him, have been misled, and especially for Neo who sells products that haven't been tested.......

Hello, does anyone have the driver for a NEO KEOPS multimedia player? I no longer have the installation CD. Thank you in advance.
I have the same problem with a 1TB multimedia external hard drive. The computer detects it, but I can't find the disk on the computer. Cdiscount doesn't care about customer service; I've been ripped off badly. I'm looking for solutions, but ...
Hello,
I bought the Neo Keops 1000Go external hard drive.
I am using Vista, so I plug it in (without installation CD), but my hard drive does not show up.
The order of connection and powering on doesn't make any difference.
I also tried changing the USB port, but there was no change.
And in the disk management, my Neo Keops hard drive doesn't show up either...
Help, thanks.

And if the data is important, there are two solutions:
the first:
take apart the hard drive from the Neo Keops, remove the slot and connect it to the PC (some knowledge is required) and copy the data to the PC's hard drive.
the second:
still take apart the hard drive and take it to a technician and ask him to burn everything onto a DVD.
These are the solutions that I believe should be considered (the only ones) to avoid losing anything.
