RECEPTION OF PARTIAL OR TOTAL TNT: Main research tracks for missing channels (repeated again, regardless of the channel or channels or location or transmitter)

Hello:

First of all, partial non-reception may in some cases come from the adapter (internal or external) that does not handle the frequency shift observed on some TNT transmitters. Manually enter the channels (frequencies) and add 2 or 3 kHz if necessary... In principle, it should be possible to correct it; if not, either a new update or direct return to the after-sales service...

Then, more generally, from the antenna and the cable. Is the aerial a standard UHF type, meaning for all TNT channels, from channel 21 to channel 69? Does the aerial have sufficient gain and directivity? It is said that it should display at least 13 dB of gain, but 15 dB is sometimes more relevant. The higher the gain, the more the antenna is directive towards the transmitter and the less likely it is to be interfered with... It will need to be checked that it is well-directed towards your regional transmitter and clear above the surrounding rooftops in the useful direction.

Check the coaxial cable issue; does it fall into the recommended category with a triple shielding factor and low loss? The industrial reference is the mention 17 VATC or 19 VATC (it is written on it). If the cable is obviously damaged or oxidized, too old, replace it with a single-length segment, as short as possible, up to the adaptor's input.

Is a shielded splitter with F-type connectors used, and how many outlets are in the house, knowing that the more outputs the splitter has (2, 3, 4, 6, or 8), the more losses it introduces, to which coaxial losses (every 10 m - 1.9 dB) must be added? To compensate for the losses, an amplifier is installed upstream of the splitter; its gain varies between 15 dB (if 2-way splitter) and 20 dB (3 or 4 ways) or 25 dB if a 6 or 8-way splitter.

Is the TNT signal received at the aerial sufficiently strong, necessarily with high gain of 17.5 dB? If the signal is artifacted, freezing, pixelation, sometimes a black screen for a few moments, a low-noise UHF mast preamplifier can resolve weak field issues (at the edge of the range, in a dip, etc.)

Note: It is necessary to check that the installation does not have a signal dividing accessory in the shape of a molded "T"; this "thing" is prohibited in TNT.

Well, you first need to see if you’re in a city or a village where it’s hard to get. If it's hard to get, you just have to buy an antenna that catches it easily. ;)

Goodbye

Hi

Have you ever tried a manual search?
But I think it might come from the power of the antennas. But well, I pick up M6 and the others on the same channel
Can you give me the channel for TF1 to see if it works and if it's the same as the one on the site I gave earlier?

Thanks
See you!

Hello everyone, I recommend a product that I recently bought; it's a TV signal amplifier. It costs between 8 and 15 euros and it allows you to increase the reception power of your antenna.
In short, it amplifies the hertz to get a maximum number of channels, easy to connect, consumes little power, and there's no difficulty in installation.
I had the same problem and I even struggled to pick up channels 2 and 3, but now even with houses and an oak tree in front of my antenna, I can receive all channels thanks to this. At worst, if it doesn't work, you've only lost 10 or 15 euros; it's not the end of the world. You can find this product in local stores that sell TVs, vacuum cleaners, etc., they know the product well.
I hope this helps you; it's thanks to this that I'm able to receive everything.
Good luck to everyone!

Hi

In response to your question, the frequency for TF1 and associated channels is channel 65, 826 MHz on the Mulhouse transmitter.
If you manage to fix your problem, keep us updated because I'm stuck. I've tried everything, except maybe calling a professional.

See you!

Hello everyone, I have the same problem as most of you. I emailed the CSA, which replied that it all depends on the power of the transmitters and especially the geographical coverage of these transmitters. I was advised to have the orientation of the antenna checked by an antenna technician, but it's not guaranteed that he will agree since I didn't buy my flat-screen TV with TNT from him. Anyway, I haven't changed the orientation since the antennas are compatible. I believe that the more complaints there are, the faster the technical officials responsible for the geographical coverage will take action. In the region where I am, some friends have no issues while not far from me. This proves that there are "dead zones." Maybe with a satellite dish ... who knows?

A kalagan, good evening, in your case, although I am not a specialist, it would be wise to have a rooftop antenna (or another suitable antenna) installed. Small indoor antennas do not yield good results, even in the standard version, especially for digital terrestrial television. Cheers.

Hi, I live in Haguenau, I have all the channels except TF1, TMC, and NRJ 12; does anyone in my area have the same problem?
Thanks in advance!

Aside from moving as Max humorously suggests, visit the site "TDF, a world of convergence - TNT coverage maps". There is a wealth of information that could address the issue. Cheers.

Okay, hi everyone; it's all good for me, I just needed to turn my rake about 50cm to the right and that was it! My signal went up from 55% to 78%.

Hello everyone, I live 15 km from Valenciennes and I'm unable to receive TF1 and NRJ12 with TNT. I've tried several searches but it's impossible. I have an antenna on the roof without a splitter, and I own a Samsung LCD with built-in TNT. Could you help me??????

Thank you!

I live in Templeuve near Lille. I've been receiving digital terrestrial television for a year without any issues, but like many of you, I can no longer receive 3 channels (TF1, TMC, NRJ) at all. On Thursday, December 20th, it was the last straw; half of the channels were working very poorly or not at all.
I'm having the same problems on my PC with a DVB-T adapter

Thanks for the Christmas gift.........!!

Hello, I have exactly the same problem. I live in Cappelle en Pévèle. Since December 20th, I haven't had TF1, TMC, and NRJ12. Does anyone have any news on how to get it working again? Thank you.

Hello,

Does anyone have news on when we can watch TF1, TMC, and NRJ12 again?
It's nice for the holidays.
In any case, they won't reduce the amount of the TV license fee for us.

I hope someone can reply to me. Thank you.

Hello,
for the sender from Bouviny, this has been resolved after performing a new scan by deleting the old channels; I am now receiving TF, TMC, NRJ12.
