Hello,

For the past few days, every time I want to download a software or just listen to the radio, the new window that opens goes directly to https://www.msn.com/fr-fr/?ocid=iehp and nothing appears. When I put this address in my address bar, I realize that it redirects me to msn.org. Do you have any idea, please?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,
I've been having the same issue since I installed the Kaspersky update and I can no longer open IE7.
Thank you for any suggestions to resolve this problem, noting that I have no issues with Firefox.

You're funny, we can do that... The problem is that no matter what homepage is set, the browser sends a request to go.microsoft.com when starting up. Then the remote server responds after 30 seconds with a 302 redirect to msn... Then another 30 seconds later, a 503 Service unavailable... just unbearable...

I found a solution that worked for me on this page

http://www.forum-microsoft.org/topic81757.html

I'm transcribing the solution for your convenience

To solve this problem, here may be a solution:
1- Start menu and "Run ..."
2- Type: gpedit.msc then ok
3- Select "User Configuration",
"Administrative Templates",
"Windows Components",
"Internet Explorer"
4- Then in the right column (tab "Standard") double-click on:
"Prevent the operation of customization settings at first execution"
5- Check "Enabled" and "Select your choice"="Go directly to the homepage"
6- Restart the IE7 browser and set the homepage.

At my place, it doesn't work with IE8 and Vista, the response is: Windows cannot find gpedit.msn.

I didn't find the solution and I decided to reinstall Windows. It's a lot of work but it's worth it.

You just need to create a REG file and merge it:
______________________________________________________________
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SQM]
"DisableCustomerImprovementProgram"=dword:00000001

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
"DisableFirstRunCustomize"=dword:00000001

Hello, I have Windows XP and I've installed Kaspersky 7.0
I can't use Internet Explorer: a window keeps popping up when it tries to connect to the Internet: HTTP Access Manager http://go.microsoft.com/fwlinkId=69157 also telling me, "you cannot access this site" and also asking me to enter the supervisor's password. I've already tried disabling the Windows firewall and Kaspersky to no avail.
I had the same problem after installing Windows Live Messenger.
If you can help me, thank you in advance.

To set a specific page to open when starting Internet Explorer or Firefox (for example, to start on Google), go to the top of the page, click on Tools, then Internet Options. In the window that appears (home page), type the link you want your browser to start with, for example www.google.fr. Then, close IE or Firefox and restart them, and it will open on the link you just typed.

Hello,
I have the same problem as you, my IE page changes by itself, it's my antivirus Viruskeeper that alerts me in real time.
This results in unwanted ads appearing.
It's a low-risk attack.....
