Hello,
everyone, I hope I can find a solution to my problem on this site ;)
I have a flash drive that I lent to a friend, and upon getting it back, I realize that I can no longer access it, nor can I even format it!!
Moreover, in properties, it says: free space 0 bytes, used space 0 bytes, file system RAW!!!
It's a ChipsBnk Flash Disk USB device
Does anyone have an idea?? HELP

Hello
a flash drive is a data storage medium like a hard disk, it belongs to the RAM (random access memory) family, which means that these devices are not immune to viruses primarily, and we all know there are viruses that we cannot remove like Trojans because they hide in memory (clever). The problem with a flash drive that won't open is that it needs to be formatted, not with Windows but with a bootable WINDOWS CD (you need to have some knowledge about installing Windows). In the partition, delete only the flash drive, then partition it (using the C key on the keyboard), restart, and there you go, the problem is solved.
P.S. If you have any gaps, I am available every day from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM Algerian time. Thank you.

Hello everyone
I hope to find a solution to my problem which is:
the computer can detect my flash drive but when I try to open it, it asks me to format it but I haven't been able to do that.
I'm waiting for a response and thank you very much.

I have the same problem, I can't open my flash disk, when I click on open it asks me to insert a CD, I have a lot of folders inside.
right click
manage
disk management
right click on your flash disk
new volume
specify the size of your flash
follow the other steps
finally, you will have your working flash drive
